Chapter II : The Beginning of The End

Marching on the harden and dry soil of the once fertile plain fields, Bands of demons from the Isles move on their journey to search and destroy the fabled town hall of Siegfried. But in just a few steps more, these proud and arrogant demons will be nothing but a mere lump of deceased meat once the Elven 42th Platoon made their move with the leadership of Lieutenant Jacquelyn and joining them is Neo. Not aware of their surroundings, the narrow pathway is bombarded by arrows shot by skilled marksmans and the demons are flanked by knights who hid in the forests waiting for the signal to attack. In just minutes, the Elves reigned supreme and continue to head to their next destination, The Rujnar canyons. Jacquelyn is a famous warrior known for bringing destruction to seven known dangerous bandit groups in four years, thus gaining recognition from the Mistress and was promoted to Elven Lieutenant, youngest in her generation that is. This made Neo nervous especially when she asks him questions with her serious yet sweet voice. Meanwhile, The Legion commander rests on his wickedly decorated throne, located at the spot once known as Purple Oak. Unpatient and enraged, He is dissapointed yet again after receiving reports of the failed searches for the sacred relic. Tired of waiting and furious, He unsheathes his sword and proceeds to behead one of his generals for failing to do as requested. Cleaning his blade using the skin of his dead general, he walked outside and gather his platoon of elites and said to them, "Sharpen your steel! Tonight, we have human heads for dinner!" in a sinister tone.

At the center of a forest, Rapi slowly crept through the tall grass and wet dirt, hoping to find a shed where four youngsters live in command of the Mistress. "The shed is supposed to be here. But all I see is weed growing everywhere and tall trees for god knows how long they've been growing." silently grunting to himself but eventually found for what he came for. Approaching close to the shed, He noticed that it has no residents but their belongings still linger there. Thinking that they may have gone out, he thought that this would be a chance to rest. But with quick reflexes, Rapi quickly swings his dagger countering arrows which were shot swiftly by someone. "Reveal yourself and maybe I won't cut you to death." He said with haste. Four shadows appeared under the sun as they came out from the trees. "A crossbow... A couple of bow and arrows and a Longsword. As he saw their weapons. "These guys must be them!" He thought and proceeded to introduce himself to them and his intentions of coming there. Not believing his words, The four proceeded to approach closer aiming their arrows and blades at the suspicious looking intruder. Luckily, Rapi quickly showed them the royal crest obtained by the Mistress when he was still at the palace. The four stop their tracks and forgive Rapi with humbleness and asks him of the Mistress's heeds.
After a quick brief, Eric the Longsword fighter and the leader of the Four opened a shack and pulled a Rapier out of a locked chest, giving it to Rapi and said "Take this, you'll need it." Once set, They dashed to complete the mission given to them.

Nighttime comes, silence overwhelms, the Elven 42nd crept silently through the forests with a feeling of anxiousness slowly approaching the guards at the canyons, taking them down one by one. "I got three." Neoubert whispered. They set their bases there and have gained an advantage against the Legion. At one village in a distance however, The Legion Commander slashes the residents their with his beloved Pandemonium leaving no innocent soul unseparated from his or her body parts. His elites burn the houses and buildings down while Seekers collect the body parts to increase their food stock. Horrifying screams and beggings are heard from a distance as no one is spared. Watching them die with no way of helping them, The Four and Rapi spectated with enraged feelings, Swearing to themselves that they will send every demon back to where they came from. In the mist of victory, The village is suddenly filled with smokescreen, As the five ascend from the darkness and started killing them one by one.
The smoke started to clear and their presence are noticed more and more until the demons surrounded them. Their weapons confiscated, they were brought down and was forced to kneel. "This pile of ore is what you call weapons!?" Stated one of the generals, He proceeded to slap Hafiz, then Alex, continued doing it to Rapi and Lee, leaving Eric the last. Just as he was about to do it, Eric said with a dreadful tone "I would not do that if I we're you." But the general ignored his words and slapped him anyway. He then wanted to slap him again but was hesitant after Eric stated "Make me furious and you will have your head stuck on a stick." "What can a puny human do to me? HAHAHAHA" and the general proceeded to hit him for the second time. Eric was in silence, his aura changed to a deathly and horrifying manner, his longsword flicks and mangled the generals head and landed at the palm of his hand. With an enraged and murderous intentions, he thrusts his blade to the ground causing massive shockwaves that lifted the ground, burying and killing demons around them. The Legion Commander saw what they are capable of and quickly fled from the scene. Cutting loose his friends, they are more determined than before to bring destruction upon those demons, and send them back to Hell for good.

At the palace however, the Mistress is talking to the two of her assassins, Irine and Rafeatul. Sending them in a covert mission to assasinate the Commander and bring the Legions morale down the sink. As they went off, The Mistress went out and plans to see one of her favourite apprentices. "Jamie? Are you here?" She spoke. "Yes Mistress! How may I be of assistance?" Jamie replied. Jamie is the ace apprentice of the Mistress's personal Medical Sentries Squad and mastered all the Medical offense and defense skills. "I need you to do me a favour, locate where our two guests are try to help them on their quests as much as you can, I'm counting on you." Jamie nodded and packed her things, going towards Neoubert's location with her dashing stallion. "Hey umm... Thanks for saving me, us back there." Said Rapi. "It was nothing, really. Just you know, doing my job." Eric replied. "How did you do that? You know that earthquake technique." "There's a blacksmith named Lim who knows how to forge weapons that utilizes your aura and unleash it's energy to create destructive force. You may think that this sword's specialty is it's length and weight, but there's much more into it." Eric said. Rapi asked Eric if he can take him to the blacksmiths place. After his friend's nodded, Eric told Rapi the rules when they get there. At the Rujnar river, Lieutenant of the 22nd Elven Platoon and best friends with Jamie are Glorie Christopher, whom arrived a day early at the river to join the 42nd. "Well you certainly arrived early!" Jacquelyn warmly welcomes Glorie. "Being early isn't against the law right? Besides, the sooner this war ends, the sooner I can get back to finish my business. By the way, Who's that fellow besides you?" "Oh pardon me, This is Neoubert. The one who came with Rapi to help us. Neoubert, This is Lieutenant Glorie Christopher, she is one of my best partners and she will be joining us until they have further objectives from the Palace." Jacquelyn said as she quickly introduces Neo to her. Neoubert bowed and formally introduces himself to the lieutenant. They went on straight to the plans, Jacquelyn explain briefly on what they are going to do at the canyons and Glorie with her platoon went down to the river to establish a base there to prepare themselves for upcoming battles.

Arriving at the blacksmiths shop, Lim welcomes the five into his shop and showed his finished craftings. "We appreciate you showing us these fine tools, but I wanted to ask you something else. This man, is a Swift from Epsilon and he called us upon the Mistress's request, so I would be in gratitude if you could find his attribute and merge his aura with his weapon." Eric said with a humble voice. "Ah! That my friend, isn't such a big problem to me! I have many spare time and It would not be a problem but I need funds to purchase more materials." "That won't be a problem!" Eric gave Lim a handful of money to Lim and he began analyzing Rapi's aura at once. After hours of researching and forging, Lim finally finished forging Rapi's weapon and immediately woke up them from their nap. Lim explained to Rapi that his aura is very rare even in the times of his ancestors. The Inferius attribute has been found within him which led to the creation and combination of both Wind and Fire energies. Thus making his weapon one of Lim's strongest creations and might even be the most powerful, even powerful than Eric's longsword. But mastering the skills would take time and patience as it is harder to harness the power and utilize it. Rapi grasped his hands on the handle of the blade, feeling the power swimming through his veins and making him more spirited than ever. After much time spending there, they decided to leave Lim with a warm farewell and went on to continue their journey. "Well, I now got my own forged weapon. Where do we go next?" Rapi said to Hafiz. Hafiz simply replied him "Ruzomar." Rapi suddenly stopped. "Ruzomar!?" He thought to himself. Surprised by their answer, he is curious about why they're going there as it is currently the Legion's 4th headquarters but he knows that the four are ready to eliminate them. He continued walking and he will be as ready as they are.
