Vin and Sel Stories

Where it all started, Part 2

Since Vincent and Selena first met, they would still be themselves - Vincent being more indoors than out in the streets and Selena committing to her job enough so she had a way to like it and pay for bills. It wouldn't last long though before they meet again, as another instance of Vincent needing to get his hair done has come again.

Milana: Brother, are you ready yet?

Vincent: Sure, just let me finish dressing up!

Vincent isn't a guy who likes to change his clothes to go with fashion or going somewhere else every time. He likes to take it simple - his usual red shirt in black check, his dark blue overalls with his slightly less dark jeans and black and white sneakers completed his look perfectly. It is very rare that he goes somewhere in a different outfit, for example - for mom's close friend's wedding he had to seek himself a similar outfit to his, so they have bought him a dark red jacket with equally black bowtie and pants as well as new white shirt for it. In conclusion, Vincent doesn't like to change himself outside, but when he does - it is usually unique and even outstanding.

Vincent: Ok, ready! Let's go.

Both of them locked the house and were coming to the same barbershop again. As they came in, the same old face greeted them.

Jacob: Ah, welcome back, Milana and Vincent! Seems like our man is getting comfortable with changing his image, huh?

Milana: He sure does! We came here for the same thing, as always.

Jacob: Aye', sure! Just take a seat over there, I'll be with you in a minute.

Vincent calmly sat down on the surprisingly comfy chair and was actually waiting for Selena. He didn't want to admit it but as much as he wasn't really meeting someone in real life besides family and close friends, he definitely knew that this bee could be a really good friend of his someday.

Jacob: Okay, I'm here. Let's get this done.

Vincent: Huh? Oh, okay.

Jacob: Is something wrong man? You seem to be pretty confused by the look on your face.

Vincent: Nothing really, just... Well, I thought... Uhhh... Selena would be here?..

Jacob: Oh. Yeah, about that - she has a very important family meeting, so I couldn't exclude her from it. We're people, after all.

Vincent: Alright then. I was just thinking she was... Gone from this place?

Jacob: Nah man. By the way, why did you need this info anyway?

Vincent: Oh, uhh... You shouldn't be concerned about it, that's for sure.

Jacob: Huh. Whatever you say, Vincent.

They were quickly done with his haircut. Even more quickly than Selena could, for sure.

Jacob: Okay, done!

Vincent: Woah! You surely do it faster than Selena!

Jacob: I do. I was learning way more faster than her, but she's not bad at it either.

Vincent: Anyways, thanks for the "trimming".

Jacob: You're always welcome.

Both were coming out of the barbershop, but it seems like Vincent forgot something.

Vincent: Oh geez, I think I need something from there. Hang on!

Milana: Did you forget something?
