I Failed You

Artoria curled her hand onto her head as the pain grows bigger in each second. She leans against the wall and shuts her eyes in frustration with her arms hiding them from a raw emotion filling her eyes. "Why... Did you end yourself, Nero?"

She lower her arm and see she is not in the cell anymore. Artoria summons her corrupted Excalibur and it spikes out in dark flames.

"Where am I!?"

"Your end." That voice triggered Artoria. She turns around with Dark Excalibur bursting out with its aura and clashing against the familiar sword. Her eyes narrowed and her expression turns into anger, because of the one person.

"You!" But not just someone.

"Me." The pure (maybe not) and uncorrupted Artoria helps herself up with Excalibur and Artoria Alter grits her teeth in annoyance.

"You are supposed to be dead!" Howling at her original Artoria, the uncorrupted one simply stabs Excalibur in front of herself.

"How can I be dead, if you are alive? Are we not the same one?" Artoria let the hilt go to start a conversation than a fight.

"We are not the same one! You just a little girl, one always seek HIM!!"

"That is because you are too weak to seek himself. That is why you allied with Jeanne Alter. You just want his attention as much as I do."

Artoria Alter clenched her teeth and her eyes shifts into a murderous aura. She takes Dark Excalibur and strikes it at Artoria. However, the King of Knights easily leaps back.

"You are the weak one! You are not even trying to put up a fight and is because you know the outcome! I win, as always!" Artoria Alter shouts and lets the strongest [Mana Burst] out to send Artoria back.

"You need each other while I do not need him!" Artoria catches the blade with her hands, frightening her Alter with her dead-set eyes.

"Perhaps is the reason why you are weak." The corrupted holy sword snaps in two by Artoria and the counterpart falls backward in shock.

"Y-You can not do that! Impossible!"

"Impossible how?" The familiar voice shocks Artoria Alter. She slowly turns around and her eyes meet each other. The Dark Saber's eyes widened in disbelief of the person's appearance.

"Hello." Artoria Alter crawls backward in confusion. That person should be dead.

"Please do not scare her too much, Morgan."

Artoria helps her more questionable Alter up from the ground while the infamous Morgan Le Fay walks around them. Artoria Alter is confused. The easiest word to describe what is going right now. First, her uncorrupted self appeared with Morgan, her sister moments later.

Dead people should be dead.

"Hmph. To think my dear brother turned into a scaredy-cat." Morgan stopped circling and crossed her arms under her chest to show she is the dominant one.

"As you can see, we are very much alive." Artoria guides the scared Artoria Alter over to Morgan.

"Tch." Morgan looks away in annoyance and tapped the ground. With that single movement, Artoria Alter finds herself and the others in a room with a round table and three seats.

"Sit." Artoria Alter immediately falls into her seat and Morgan steals a glare at her, before looking over to Artoria.

"Why is she shaking so much?"

"Oh, that is because we feel we are a part of your death." She whispered while her Alter slowly becomes smaller with every second.

"And you feel sorry still?" Morgan asks her 'brother'.

"Of course, but not that much like her. She thinks she could save you by being more powerful. The kingdom too." Both look over to Artoria Alter as she is having a midlife crisis.

"Do not be saddened about my death. I deserve it after that evilness I did." Artoria Alter snaps out and looks at Morgan.

"Really!?"

"Yes." Morgan closed her eyes and sits down with Artoria too. The three looks at each other in a few minutes of silence. Until Artoria Alter opens her mouth.

"What are we doing here?"

"To save you, my dear student." Artoria Alter freezes by his voice and blink of an eye, she sprung up from her seat and stabs Dark Excalibur beside her while kneeling.

"I failed you, Merlin."

Pink petals blow around and the famous wizard entered the room as it breaks its walls into an open hill of pink leaves. "No, I failed you, dear." He crouched down and puts his hand on her. Artoria smiles joyfully with Morgan getting irritating by his presence.
