I looked around Tom's apartment as I entered. There was some Shakespeare playing on an old phonograph. There was a 42 inch, flat screen T.V. There was a black, leather couch big enough for twelve people. The kitchen was your typical one, with an island and as usual, a fridge. I placed the pizza box on the island counter, looking around.

There was a hallway that led to the bathroom and bedroom. I heard the shower still dripping and rustling coming from the bedroom. Tom came out from the room, wearing a pair of black pants with matching shoes. His white, short sleeve, button up shirt was halfway buttoned. His hair was wet, dripping, and slicked back. I blushed.

"Um, I left your pizza over there," I said, pointing to the counter. I pulled the edge of my cap over my head a little as Tom walked over to the pizza.

"Here," he threw me a wad of money and took a slice of pizza. I caught it, looking at it in my hands. It was forty bucks in one dollar bills. My eyes widened.

"I can't take this!" I exclaimed. I thrusted my hands out to him. "It's too much!" Tom chuckled, taking my hands. I blushed.

"I'll take half of it and you keep the rest," he said. Tom took his half, leaving me with mine. I nodded slowly, walking away.

"Goodbye," I called out.

"Goodbye," he called out.

I rode the scooter/ motorbike back to the restaurant. The freckled kid, Skylar, was finishing taking the order of an elderly couple.

"You're back so soon," he said. I scoffed, sitting the pizza bag on the counter.

"Anything I can help with?" I asked. Before Skylar could answer, there was a loud explosion coming from the outside. The whole building shook as Thor, the Avenger and god of thunder, came crashing through. His hammer flew into the kitchen.

Skylar gave out a high pitched scream and left. The elderly couple hid underneath the table. I gasped as Loki, the villain the Avengers recently fought, came through the broken door. He looked at me, his eyes filled with malice. But, something was odd about his eyes. They looked so familiar.

"Who are you?" the old man asked. Loki put his foot on Thor's chest.

"I am Loki of Asgard," he answered. Thor groaned.

"I know who you are," I said. Loki looked at me, smirking.

"And who might you be?" he asked. I didn't say anything. I just glared at him. He chuckled.

"Ah, you mortals," Loki said. "So persistent."

"I wouldn't say persistent," I said. "I can sometimes be stubborn."

"Then prove it," he said. Loki removed his foot from Thor's chest and walked towards me. "Kneel," he said. I scoffed, crossing my arms.

"Like I said, I can be stubborn," I answered. Loki grabbed my neck and forced me down onto the counter. I grasped his hands, trying to remove them off my neck. "Let go!"

"Not until you yield," he replied. I used my right hand to try to find something I can use as a weapon. I grabbed hold of the cashier and hit Loki with it, but he didn't even flinch.

"What are you guys made of!?!" I asked horsley. Any minute, or second now, I would've passed out or worse.

"Brother, let her go," Thor said, standing up weakly. Loki loosened his grip and faced his brother, chuckling.

"But brother, I like this game," Loki replied. Thor raised his hand, summoning his hammer, but Loki did the same. Mjolnir fought between two wielders.

"That's not possible," Thor said. Loki chuckled once more before the hammer flew into his hand. Loki shot green lighting at Thor, shooting him out of the building. The elderly couple gasped. I did the same, but it was weak. Loki looked at the huge hole, then looked back at me.

"Now, where were we?" he asked. I struggled as he put more pressure on my neck when an idea popped into my head. I smiled.

"Hey Loki," I said. "Do you have one of those?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked. I grinned.

"I mean one of these," I kicked up my leg with a lot of force. Loki's eyes widened as he realized what happened. I had struck him in the middle of his legs. He doubled over with pain, letting go of my neck and dropping the hammer. I was free!

I rushed through the employee door, past the kitchen and out the door. I gasped, stopping.

"I forgot about them!" I exclaimed. I remembered the elderly couple and rushed back inside. Loki was gone, but the elderly couple were still under the table. Mjolnir was still on the ground. The woman was grabbing onto the old man. I bent down and held my hand out.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly. The man pointed to something behind me, his finger trembling. I looked behind me. My eyes met a pair of black boots. I looked up. Loki had his arms crossed and was smiling. I meekly smiled back before being grabbed by the neck and raised in the air. Loki laughed as he held me by one hand. I gripped his hand, kicking my legs towards his hurt spot, but Loki just held me out far from himself.

"You really are stubborn," he said.

"Ha," I choked out. "See I told ya." I was running out of time, ideas, and oxygen. I squeezed his hands. The light bulb in my mind wasn't on anymore.

"Are you going to give up?" Loki asked. I shook my head.

"You don't deserve a throne," I answered. I felt dizzy. My eyes rolled to the back of my head.

Jordan's P.O.V:

Y/n's phone sent me to voicemail for the fifteenth time. She wasn't picking up. I was worried, especially since the Avengers were in a fight and it was taking place near Dave's Pizza.

"Where do you think she is?" I asked Crystal. She shrugged.

"I don't know," she replied, not looking up from her book. "How am I supposed to know about her whereabouts?" I frowned and decided to text Y/n. She usually replies quickly, but this time she didn't. I bit my lip.

"I'm going to go look for her," I said. I grabbed my jacket from the coat rack and opened the door. I closed the door behind me and set off to find her. The new neighbor popped his head out for a quick glance, then disappeared.
