"There's a school dance... There's a school dance!! THERE'S A SCHOOL DANCE!!! LUCY, THERE'S A SCH-"
"SCHOOL DANCE, YES I GET IT, SATAN!" Lucy yelled back at Lia.
"I'm sorry I just get too excited about these things! What am I gonna wear? Who am I gonna ask? Am I gonna cry?" Lia pondered. "You're gonna ask the guy? Not the other way around?" asked Chaeryoung.
"It's the 21st century, girly pop! I can't wait around for prince charming, I gotta find him for myself!"
"Is Ryujin gonna go?" asked Lucy.
"She said, she'd rather die. In a ditch. After she slammed her tongue in a car door. To the point where her tongue came off and she bled to death right there. In the middle of nowhere." answered Chaeryoung.
"Did she really use that much detail?"
"No, I just couldn't help not to." Chaeryoung smiled.
"Yunaaa... you're being unnaturally quiet." Lia pointed out. Yuna looked up.
"You're hoping they'll have pancakes at the dance aren't you?" Lucy asked. Yuna nodded sheepishly.

"Okay! Just go in! And ask!"
Sam was pacing back and forth in front of the art room. He's had a crush on his classmate since kindergarten and he felt that he's finally worked up the courage to ask her to the dance. Maybe?
"SAM!"
"NOTHING!" Sam jumped as he yelled. His friends laughed at him.
"The date with those guys went amazing! They even asked as to the dance!" Felix exclaimed. "Oh! I'm happy for you guys." Sam smiled. "What about you, Sky? Any lucky ladies?"
"I'm only going for the food." he answered. "But why are you being suspicious outside of the art room? Did you finally grow a pair and ask Ningning?"
"Vulgar much? And no, not yet..." Sam looked down.
"Hey, don't worry! Even if she turns you down and you feel like you want to die and get swallowed by the ground, I'm sure she'll stay friends with you." Peter tried to comfort horribly.
"Sunshine! Come on!" They turned to see Felix and Peter's boyfriends waiting for them at the end of the hallway. Felix squealed. "He calls me, 'sunshine'!" Then he skipped to his man and linked arms with him.
"Ready, baby boy?" asked Peter's guy with a loving smile. Peter blushed and quickly walked to him and held his hand as they all walked out. Leaving the only single-pringles standing there. "Welp, I'm gone." And Sky left. Now there were no more distractions.
"Go in! Sam... open... Sam open it." His hand was on the door knob but it couldn't seem to push the door open. "Do it, Sam! Come on! Count of three! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A-!"

"Do it, Sam! Come on! Count of three! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A-!"

A girl opened the door. "HALFFFFfff..." He slowly lowered his hand, embarrassed. She laughed. "What's up, Sam?"
"Hi! Um... Ni-ni-"
"Ningning."
"Just testing! Haha!"
Silence. "Soooo...?" Ningning looked side to side.
"I gotta... pee." and with that, he ran away. She smiled as he left her sight.
"Why do I find you so adorable?"

"Rikki would you like to go to the school dance with me?" a timid Japanese girl with short pink hair and rosy cheeks, shyly asked him as he was sat at his desk.
"Um... I can't, cause you see... my cat, Mr. Fish-"
"Your cat's name is Mr. Fish?"
"Yeah I'm weird, anyway, he needs to go to the aquarium!"
"Why?"
"Oh why... good question."
"Forget about it. It's okay." she said sadly as she walked off back to her friends and laid her forehead on her folded arms at her desk.
Rikki felt terrible. It's not about her at all! It's just that he's never been with someone and he's too scared. Unfortunately for him, he's the cutest boy in his grade and a lot of girls saw this as their chance to finally ask him out. So throughout the day, non-stop, girl after girl, he was asked to go to the dance. It started to really frustrate him and when a group of girls stopped him in the hallway he couldn't take it anymore.
"Hey Rikki! Can we-?"
"Hi Rikki! I was wondering-"
"Rikki will you go to the dance with me!?" He was surrounded! Everywhere he looked there were girls asking him the same question over and over!

Lucy was walking with her friends and noticed a group of girls blocking most of the hallway. "What is even happening?" They made their way through the crowd to see what was in the center. Rikki was turning 360 degrees, panicking. At first Lucy was amused. "I had no idea he was this popular with the ladies!" she told her friends. She was gonna leave him alone until she saw the tears start to form in his eyes. That's all it took.
"BACK OFF!" She grabbed Rikki's hand and shoved the girls aside. They tried to follow, but Lucy's friends blocked them off.

"Okay, um..." Sam finally made it into the art room and was sitting down with Ningning. "I wanted to ask... you..."
"Ask me what?"
"If you..."
Just do it!
"If you would like to-!" The door slammed open to reveal Lucy with a teary-eyed Rikki. "What happened!?" Sam ran over to them. "We're going, coming?" asked Lucy.
"Yeah, okay." Sam quickly grabbed his backpack and waved Ningning goodbye. Ningning waved then sighed. "Maybe next time."

"Well dang! Nice going, kid!" Sam was impressed that his little brother could attract every single 14 year old girl in that school. They were sitting on the swings at their park.
"I was impressed too until he started crying." Lucy patiently looked at Rikki to explain.
"All day girls kept asking me to the dance but I'm not ready for that kind of thing... I was so frustrated and tired and I guess I finally just cracked... I'm sorry..." Rikki did look tired and as he was sniffling the twins couldn't help but look at him as if he was a 5 year old again.
"Ah, Rikki. It's nothing to be sorry about. Some people just aren't ready to start their romance life and that's completely understandable." comforted Sam.
"Yeah, Sam only now just started to notice women." added Lucy as Sam glared at her. Rikki giggled and the siblings group hugged. They then played in the park for the rest of the day.
