The kids were watching a movie then started to feel a bit woozy. "Does anyone else feel weird?" asked Sam and the other 2 nodded holding their heads. The irises of their eyes started to glow silver then they fell asleep."Wanna go to the dance with me?"
Lucy stood there motionless and blinked. She whispered to Chaeryoung. "Who is he talking to?"
"You!" she answered.
"Oh snap." She continued to stand there motionless.
"So... is it a no?"
"No!"
"Oh..."
"I mean, no! It's a yes!" His eyes lit up and he smiled brightly. "Great! I'll pick you up at seven!" Then he waved and walked to his next class. Lucy couldn't believe it. Did that really just happen? Lia was squealing and jumping up and down. "NEW GUY ASKED YOU OUT!" Lucy couldn't help but squeal and jump as well.
" I KNOW! I'M SO EXCITED!" They held hands and jumped in circles.
"If only you knew his name." said Chaeryoung.
"Oh SNAP."Rikki was at soccer practice and it was going well. He was one of the top players and he had an amazing kick. The guy on the "opposing team" was really aggressive and kicked the ball super hard towards Rikki. "Look out!" one of his teammates yelled. "Yipe!" A clear forcefield with a white glow to it came from Rikki's side and the ball deflected off of it and back at the boy who kicked it, shooting it into his stomach. "Oof!" he let out before he landed backwards into the goal. "Woah..." Rikki muttered as the forcefield disappeared.
Meanwhile, Sam was attempting to ask Ningning AGAIN for the 3rd time. "Will you go out with me!?" he yelled then closed his eyes, bracing for the hard impact of rejection. "Finally! I've been waiting all this time for you to ask!"
He slowly opened his eyes. "Say what?"
"Yeah! I've had a crush on you since, like, kindergarten!"
Sam was ecstatic. "So have I!" Ningning smiled and wrapped her arms around him. At first Sam froze but he embraced her and took in her scent happily. He was at such peace until he realized his brother's white light just appeared out of thin air behind one of the canvases. "OH!" Sam said in shock.
"What? What is it?"
"Oh nothing!!" He hugged Ningning tighter as Rikki tip-toed out of the room. He slowly closed the door then as soon as he turned around, "RIKKI!"
"AH!" Disappeared, reappeared. Lucy laughed. "What's up? Why are you sneaking out of the art room?"
"Don't do that! I was sneaking cause Sam was with Ningning and I was trying to tell him that I just deflected a soccer ball with a forcefield!"
"Woah... are you telling me you can make forcefields now?"
He smiled proudly. "I guess I can!"
"Wait now. Does that mean, Sam and I will get new powers as well?"
"I don't see why you wouldn't." The door to the art room opened and Ningning walked out then looked at the 2 siblings. "Oh hey! Waiting for Sam?" They stood there trying to think of an answer. "That could be the reason why we are out here. At this time." said Rikki robotically. She chuckled and rustled his hair. "See you later, guys!" They waved then as soon as she turned the corner they ran back in the art room. "So what's wrong?" Sam asked Rikki.
"Okay so, I got scared cause the soccer ball was gonna hit me but then a forcefield came out and deflected it!"
"That means new powers!" Lucy celebrated.
"We can't even control the ones we already have! How will we manage two?" Sam asked.
"Oh pish-posh I'm sure we'll get the hang of it in no time." She waved her arm and multiple canvases flew out the open window on the 2nd story. "Ooo." She sucked in her breath through her teeth. "You're gonna have to clean that."
"What!? You're the one that," he made the same motion with his arm that she did. "flew them out the window!"
"Fine, fine I'll help."
Rikki went back to the soccer field and tried not to look suspicious, while Sam and Lucy went outside to pick up everything. Unfortunately some of the things landed in a tree. "Well how are we gonna get those?" asked Sam. He then leaned against the tree and tried to search his brain for an idea. Lucy decided to try and jump for it, of course she was no where near the items, but she still tried. Then all of a sudden she levitated off the ground. "Um, Sam, um, Sam, um, Sam-"
Sam looked up. "How did you do that!?"
"If I knew, I wouldn't be PANICKING!" It looked as if she was inside a spaceship with no gravity. Her hair, clothes and necklace were all pointing towards the sky and everything about her moved more slowly. "Well how do I get down!?"
"Wait! Get the stuff out of the tree first!"
"Are you for real!?"
"Well how else were we gonna get them!?"
"Ugh!!" She grabbed a branch and started to pull herself towards the objects. "I can't reach them!" She blinked hard and all the objects around her gravitated towards her. "Well this is happening."
"Okay! Try come down!" Sam yelled from the ground. "Shut up!" she yelled back. She blinked hard again and she and everything else fell down. She screamed then landed on her butt. Sam helped her up.
"That was amazing!" he said.
"Ugh I gotta work on my landing." she groaned rubbing her rear. "Now that just leaves you." she told him. There was a big boulder near the tree and Sam sat on it. "How would we find out?" he pondered.
"Well, Rikki and I found out accidentally, so I guess just go about doing whatever until it happens." A spider the size of a hand was crawling towards Sam. He yelped and slammed his hand on the boulder and the boulder split in 2. They stood there in shock.
"Bro, you got SUPER STRENGTH!"
