Another two days went by, and still nothing from Chuuya. Misaki didn't mind. But she knew that at one point she'd completely go insane from all this waiting.
Chuuya knew as well. He knew she wasn't going to like waiting very much, and at one point she'll probably end up getting herself in this mess. He didn't want that. Which is why he needed to get this done as fast as possible. But he also need to be careful. One wrong move could cause a big mess.
It was around midnight, and Misaki couldn't sleep. All she could think of was wanting Chuuya back. Misaki didn't want to think of him, but the hat sitting right in front of her wasn't at all helping.
She so badly wanted to wear it everywhere she went, but it would be suspicious if she was seen with it. Port Mafia buildings are everywhere around the city. Someone would've definitely seen.
She looked out the her window and up at the sky. He made a promise to her, and she was sure he would keep it.

"It's two in the morning, why are you dragging me all the way over here? Where are we even going?" Chuuya groaned.
"Just wait a bit longer, this will help us on our mission to possibly get you out of the Port Mafia." Dazai said.
He glanced down at the boy besides him. Chuuya was so close to sleep walking at this point. But once they'd arrive, Chuuya will wake back up again.
Chuuya let out a loud yawn. Not realizing Dazai suddenly stopping, Chuuya bumped into the taller freak. "What the hell was that for?"
"Shut up." Dazai muttered.
"You-"
"What is it you called me here Dazai? And this early too?"
That voice.
~
The president looked down at Dazai, who smiled so innocently. But seeing Chuuya's face pop to the side surprised him quite a bit. "Mind explaining to me what's going on?"
"Well-"
Before Dazai could explain, Chuuya suddenly dropped to his knees and bowed to the older gentleman. "I'm sorry for what I had done to your office staff. I deeply apologize and hope for your forgiveness."
Dazai looked down at him confused. "What the hell are you on about?"
The president sighed. He took a few step forward, until he stood right in front of Chuuya. But the boy was still on the floor. He didn't bother to look up at the man standing right in front of him. He was too scared. To ashamed of what he had done him.
"It is not my place to give you their forgiveness. If you really want to apologize, you'll have to talk to them about it. But in my case, I forgive you." The president said.
"Thank you, sir." Chuuya bit his cheek.
"Now, explain."
"Oh, right."
~
"You want to escape the Port Mafia?" The president questioned.
"Not necessarily just that." Dazai added.
"Care to elaborate?"
Chuuya clenched his fist, then let out a small sigh. "I want to leave, but I don't want any harm caused to Misaki."
"Which is why we need your help. If Chuuya were to leave so suddenly, Mori isn't going to go after him. He'd go after Misa-chan." Dazai added.
"And why would he want to harm her?"
"Because he want to hurt me where it hurts most. And going after Misaki would be his main goal." Chuuya said.
"Couldn't we have gone through this mess four years ago? Would've been nice if you left a little while after us." Dazai sighed.
"I tried."
Dazai glanced back at Chuuya, giving him a questioning look. "What do you mean by that?"
"I tried tons of times to leave. But Mori would always threaten me. For the past four years, he knew all along where Misaki was. I didn't. So every time I tried leaving, he'd threaten to kill her."
The president looked down at him in pity. These past few years, he had only seen Misaki look so miserable, that's all he ever known her as. But he could see that Chuuya was just as miserable.
"I don't want to lose her. She's all I have left."
Dazai clenched his fist in anger. He knew that ever since he left, he wouldn't be safe from Mori. But finding out that he knew where they were this whole time angered him. He was uncomfortable.
"If that's the case, there's only one way for you to leave the Port Mafia without harming the girl." The president said.
"And that is?"
The president sighed. He knew that what he was about to say was possibly going to cause chaos. If anything, it would make it a lot more difficult for Chuuya. He would have to be a lot more faster. And therefore, just as careful.
"You'll have to kill him."
