"We have to kill him?" Dazai asked. How was it that he wasn't even able to think of that?
"It's the only way if you want to protect Misaki. Because simply escaping won't work. You said it yourself, if you leave, it'll only bring harm to her." The president said.
The more they talked the more angry Chuuya got. He clear he'd his fist in anger, afraid the if he looked over at the two, he'd end up breaking down.
But the man wasn't wrong. This meant things would be much harder for him. It was close to impossible. It didn't matter what would happen from her on out. Everything he would do would risk her life.
"Of course I'm willing to help you." He said. "But I'm sure Dazai-kun already knew that, considering he came to me for help."
"Was it that obvious?" Dazai smiled.
"Just take your time with this. Don't rush. I know Misaki is willing to wait. Because as long as she knows you're okay, she'll be fine."

Chuuya was silent most of the time. Dazai couldn't even be bothered to tease him. He didn't even know what was going on in Chuuya's head.
Chuuya's head hung low as they walked. His hair slightly covering most of his face. His hands balled into fist as they walked. He wasn't even paying attention to what was in front of him.
And as Dazai walked behind him, got got a perfect view of Chuuya hitting his shoulder on a random pole. And though it didn't hurt, the boy dropped the the floor and began muttering to himself. "Dammit."
"You say something?" Dazai asked.
"Dammit. Dammit. Dammit." Chuuya kept repeating. He stood back up, his breathing suddenly getting heavy. "Fuck!" He yelled. He turned to a random trash bin and kicked it as hard as he could, almost sending it flying.
He dropped back to the floor, a few tears rolling down his cheeks. "It's impossible."
"It's not impossible."
"It is!" Chuuya shouted. "No matter what I do, Misaki will be at risk. He's not after her, he just wants to see me in pain. If it weren't for be being a part of the mafia, she'd probably be dead by now."
"I think she'd rather it be that anyways." Dazai mumbled. He hadn't even realized how loud he had said it.
Chuuya stood back up and turned to him. "What?"
Dazai sighed. "It's nothing. Forget it."
He began walking away. But Chuuya grabbed his shoulder and turned him back around. "Explain." He demanded angrily.
Dazai sighed once more. "Not long after we left, Misaki began having some thoughts."
"What kinda thoughts?"
Dazai looked down at the ground. "She thought that it would be easier to die rather than to live without you." He said.
Chuuya's hands clenched around Dazai shoulder. Dazai began to feel the pain, but tried his best to ignore it. "What are you saying?"
"You know what I'm saying."
"Then tell me!"
The silence between them grew. Dazai finally looked back up. Chuuya's head hung low, but he could see a few tears rolling down his face.
"Suicide. That's what I'm saying." He said.
Chuuya's breathing hitched. His grip on Dazai's shoulder loosened. He dropped back to the floor and began muttering to himself again. "How many?"
"Huh?" Dazai questioned.
"How many times did she do it?" Chuuya asked.
Dazai sighed. "It was too much to count. I lost track."
Chuuya clenched his fist. He didn't even have the energy to yell. "If only I were around. She wouldn't have to be putting herself in danger. It's my fault."
"Nothing is your fault." Dazai said. "It didn't take her long to stop. Because she finally realized that as longer as you were alive, it was enough for her. Even if she wasn't going to live a happy life."
Dazai kneeled down, putting a hand on Chuuya's shoulder. It was weird seeming him without his hat. He so badly wanted to make fun of him for it.
"We'll find a way. We'll kill him, not matter what it takes. After all, it's what I've been wanting for years. It's was she's been wanting for much longer. So do it for her."
"But I could possibly get her killed."
"She's known that this whole time. The second you met up with her that day at the park was a risk. And when you meeting up with the president was just as big of a risk. She doesn't care. All she wants is for you to come back to her. So have have to do this carefully."
Chuuya wasn't sure how he was feeling. It was as if so many emotions were washing over him. Anger. Sadness. Confusion. Devastated. Almost everything you could think of. What he wanted was for Misaki to be safe, be he isn't even sure if he could have that anymore.
"She's going to end up finding out about all this."
Dazai scoffed. "I know. Which is why we'll try to keep it away from her as long as possible. And when she does, don't thinks she's going to ignore the situation. She be willing to put herself at risk just to help."
Chuuya sighed, then letting out a slight scoff. "She can be so stubborn."
"Especially when it comes to you." Dazai's roof back up and reached his hand out to Chuuya. "Not are you going to help me, or what? Because I can't have you slacking off as usual."
"It was always the other way around moron."
"No time for arguing. Not let's go."
Chuuya sighed. He reach his hand up and grabbed Dazai's. Dazai lifted him off from the floor without a struggle. "When do we start?"
Dazai threw him an innocent smile. "I'll give you a call. Just keep a watch out. Don't you dare try hanging up on me."
"I wish, but I know I'm going to need your help."
Dazai gave him another smile. "Good." The smile quickly turned into a glare. "Not get out of my sight. Looking at you without a hat slightly disgust me."
"Asshole."
