After they left, Halo yawned and sat back down on Skeppys lap (Sleepy boi, he's always sleepy :3) Hugging him again "S'geppy, how long was I asleep?" he said, it was muffled because his face was hidden by Skeppys chest "Only a couple hours, why do you sleep so much?" he asked quietly while he started stroking Halos fluffy hair again "The mortal realm drains my energy faster & holding my human form is quite hard because I've never done it before" Skeppy looked down at him & smiled ('Yr the best' just playing pfft-) "Will you get used to it eventually?" "Yeah" said Halo sleepily, he yawned & rubbed his eyes so Skeppy picked him up & lay down on his bed, Halo resting on his chest, they drifted off to sleep

The next morning Skeppy woke, realizing Halo was gone he began panicking thinking he was having another nightmare. "Halo?" he called out nervously, not getting a response he did it again louder. After silence answered him he felt himself panicking. He looked around the room looking for a sign of Halo and found none. Clutching his chest he began breathing faster and feeling light headed. Not hearing the bathroom door open or Halos "S'geppy are you okay?" he jumped slightly feeling arms wrap around him relaxing when he realized who it was. "Are you okay?" Halo asked again. Skeppy just nodded before hugging Halo tightly and pulling him back down so Halo was laying on his chest again. Not believing that Skeppy was okay but not wanting to pry he relaxed into Skeppy and decided to ask later.

After another hour or so of cuddling, they decided to get up & get ready for school, Skeppy finished changing & walked out of the bathroom to see Halo sitting on his bed, waiting for him "S'geppy?" he asked softly "Yeah?" Skeppy said, sitting down next to Halo "S'geppy why did you have a panic attack?" Skeppys eyes widened "No I didn't" he protested weakly "Yes, and I would like to know why"

"It's nothing" Skeppy said quietly, Halo sighed "I don't care, tell me what happened." Skeppy looked at Halo for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and explaining about the nightmare. "Please don't tell the others" he said when he was finished. "I won't" Halo said before pulled Skeppy into a tight hug. Skeppy hugged him back tightly and sighed in relief, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders

They stayed like that until they smelt pancakes "PANCAKES!" said Skeppy happily, they raced downstairs to eat their pancakes "Well, well well boys, you're up early" said Skeppys mother "Yep" said Halo happily "Skeppy, you never get up early, what have you two been doing?" she asked playfully, Oh god, she fucking knows Skeppy thought while remembering the many times she had walked in on them cuddling after school when their friends had gone home, Halo was always asleep but Skeppy was't so he knew that his mother probably shipped them

"Nothing, just talking" he said looking at his plate and quickly taking another bite so he didn't have to keep talking. His mother laughed, clearly shipping them now, but didn't ask any other questions. After that they went back to Skeppys room talking for a while before they started walking to school. Once again Skeppy grabbed Halos hand as they walked.

Halo wondered why he did this but didn't really care, he felt safer when he was close to Skeppy, when they arrived at school, they still held hands, they got some looks from people but Skeppy didn't notice, he was to focused on principal Schlatt, who had been talking to a teacher but had turned around to glare at them as they walked by, Skeppy glared back & Schlatt gave him an evil smile before returning to his conversation

About halfway through their first class, Skeppy raised his hand to go to the bathroom & on the way to the bathroom he ran into Schlatt "Uh, sorry, Mr. Schlatt" "Ahh, hello Skeppy" What? it's his second day, how does he know my name? "You didn't think i would let you slip by me and get away with it, did you?" "G-get a-away with w-what?" he started sweating, his palms were clammy

"Come with me" Schlatt said seriously, making Skeppy even more nervous. He nodded and followed Schlatt into his office, and watched Schlatt close the door and walk around his desk to his chair. Skeppy hesitantly sat in a chair across from Schlatt . Wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible he asked again, quietly "get away with what?" Schlatt glared at Skeppy, "the boy you were with, Halo, why is he here?" He said in a voice that indicated he knew something Skeppy didn't. When Skeppy didn't answer him Schlatt angrily said "I know who and what he is. Why is he here?"

"H-he's an exchange s-student" Schlatt growled at him "You know that's not what I meant" Skeppy inched closer to the door, wanting to rush out & drag Halo home "I'm not going to tell you anything because I've already told you everything" Schlatt slammed his fist on the desk "He's not human & you know it, now tell me why the hell he's here" Skeppy crossed his arms and didn't speak "Ah, okay then, I guess we'll do this the hard way" Schlatt opened the door and ushered him out before calling Skeppys parents "Hello, I'm the new principal, Schlatt, the exchange student you're housing, he's not an exchange student & he's not human, I need you to get video footage & send it to me so I can show the police" "What, why" Skeppys mother asked "I have reason to believe that Halo is a demon" Skeppys mother gasped "Yes, yeah, I'll get proof, I wont have my boy exposed to hellish creatures" Schlatt smiled and hung up I've been hunting demons for years, this one wont get away
