Skeppy didn't know the person but Halo had a terrified expression on his face. Skeppy, not being able to see his face, didn't know he was scared till he heard a small whimper and felt Halo tense. "What's wrong Halo" Skeppy whispered, not taking his eyes of the mysterious figure in front of them.

He didn't get a response, Halo only wrapped his tail around Skeppys waist and gently tugged him backwards, Skeppy stepped backwards and looked both ways, wanting to cross to the other side of the road because Halo obviously didn't like whoever this was

The mysterious person grabbed Skeppy by the wrist and pulled him back, not allowing him to leave. Skeppy felt Halos tail tighten around his waist and reached back with his free hand to grab Halos hand squeezing it, trying to be reassuring. "What do you want" he said with as stern a voice as he could muster at the time. The mysterious figure just reached behind Skeppy and grabbed Halo pulling him out from behind Skeppy. Halo looked terrified as he lost Skeppys hand and was pulled toward the person

The figure held the back of Halos hoodie, Halo whimpered as the figure let go of Skeppys wrist and shoved him over before walking off, Halo still dangling from its grasp "HEY!" Skeppy yelled at him as he stood up "Give him back!" he ran forwards only to be pushed down again as the person growled at him "Stay out of this unless you want to face the same punishment as this beast"

"He's not a beast!" Skeppy yelled getting up and running back towards them. The figure pushed him back again. "Last chance" it growled. Skeppy went to get up but he heard Halo yell "S'geppy no!" He looked up into Halos face and could see him silently pleading for Skeppy to stay where he was. He wanted to help Halo but something told him to listen and stay there. The figure just turned and walked away carrying Halo with him

Skeppy sunk to his knees, sobbing quietly, tears blurring his vision as he tried to stand, failing multiple times before he finally drags himself up & staggers home, throwing the door open before his legs buckled and he ended up on the floor of the foyer, curling up & crying loudly, he didn't hear his mother come over & ask him what happened, he didn't hear her call 911, he heard nothing except the repeating voice of Halo in his head, his mind kept repeating the scene, keeping him trapped in his own world of torment & despair, he faded in and out of consciousness multiple times, breathing heavy & throat aching but he didn't care, he wanted, no, he Needed Halo, nothing his mother tried could calm him down, he couldn't even hear her

His mom didn't know what to do, Skeppy had never acted like this and it probably had something to do with that demon boy the principle had warned her about. She cursed under her breath, but she realized she couldn't help Skeppy right now. So she took his phone and called Puffy. "Hey Skeppy" Puffy said answering the phone. "This is Skeppys mom, can you get Mega, and Zelk and come over here ASAP?" "Sure! Why?" Puffy questioned. "Just hurry please," she said hanging up. Ten minutes later the three of them were at Skeppys front door knocking. His mother answered and took them to Skeppy explaining that he hadn't moved or spoken since he got home

Puffy looked around "Where's Halo, he could probably cheer Skeppy up better then us" "Well, that's the thing, he came home without Halo" All three turned to look at her "WHAT?" cried Zelk "HOW? THEY WERE TOGETHER WHILE WE WERE WALKING HOME" "Something must've happened to them just after you dropped me off and walked across the street to your house Zelk" Mega wrote, Puffy walked over to Skeppy, who had been put on the couch, he was shivering & kept mumbling something under his breath "Skeppy?" she tried "Skeppy, can you tell us what happened to Halo?" Just as she asked that, a knocking on the door interrupted her, Skeppys mother went down to answer it & when she came back up, there were two police men with her

Puffy felt someone grab her hand and looked down to see Skeppys hand holding hers. He still didn't look at her so she pulled him in for a hug. She looked up as one of the police men walked over and crouched next to them. "Can you tell me what happened?" Puffy shook her head "I don't know what happened, he won't say anything." The officer reached out to pat Skeppys back but Puffy gently pushed his hand away. "Please don't" she said apologetically. The officer nodded and walked backing over to the others.
