*1 day later*

Y/N

"ughh..." I slipped off my bed and stretched my body before going downstairs to have breakfast.

I am now staying in Moriarty's manor. I was so happy when William asked me to live in this house. Happy because I could see him everyday pft.

"Good morning." I sit next to William. He raised his head from the newspaper and smiled. "Good morning, Y/N."

Everyone is here and we are having our breakfast. I already be friends with all of them. Except for Moran. He seems like he doesn't really like me. While Fred is rather quiet and unsociable.

Bonde is a woman. I knew it when I first saw her. But she changed her name and started a new life as a man. They never tell me why though.

I am quite curious with people in this house though.

I am just laying on my bed and just thinking what should I do after this. To be honest, I feel bored.

"I hope he forget about me so that I do not have to murder innocent people anymore." I mumbled slightly loud without realising it.

I got off the bed and went downstairs to see what William is doing right now. But he was not there.

I went upstairs to his room and knocked on the door.

"Come in." He said. I opened the door slowly and saw him reading a book.

"Oh, Y/N. Take a seat." He said as he gestured to the couch.

"I'm sorry, if I am bothering you. I just do not know what to do." I frowned. He shook his head and smiled slightly.

I looked around his room. It almost looks like a library. He has numerous books on his bookshelves. Oh, how I love books.

"You love reading, don't you?" William asked as he closed his book and look at me.

"Yes, I do. You sure have lots of books." I looked at him with a beaming smile.

"You can read them if you want." He said as he walked to the bookshelves.

"Wait, really?" I asked excitedly and walked towards him. He nodded and put back the book he read just now on the bookshelves.

"You can read whatever and whenever you want." He raised his brows slightly and smiled before he sit on the couch again.

"Uh—" I turned around to look at him when I saw him sleeping on the couch. I covered him with a blanket that i found in the room too. Aww he looks so cute and peaceful when he sleeps. Then, I quickly tiptoeing to the bookshelves again as soon as I snapped out from staring at his sleeping face.

It took me so long to find a book for me to read. "I can not choose." I whined. Then one of the books caught my eyes because of the colour. I pulled it out from bookshelves.

The colour is so pretty because it is scarlet.
"Scarlet just like his eyes." I muttered to myself.

I sat on the chair in his desk and facing the window, i was facing away from William, so I could not see him.

I got so emotional when I read the book. I cried, laughed and even blushed because of the romance scenes.

This book is worth reading. I wiped the unshed tears in my eyes while turning around to see William.

I gasped when I saw William standing before the desk. He leaned in close to me. Our face were so close to each other. I flustered and turned away to avoid eye contact.

"Did you cry?" he tilted his head, looking down at me while giggling as he saw my puffy eyes.

"This book was quite... sad." I said with a dejected look making him chuckled.

"Cute." He muttered to himself.

It's midnight. I was about to fall asleep until I heard a knock from the glass of the window.

"Who the hell is knocking on my window at time like this? Is it Fred? No, why would he do that." I shook my head and brushed off my thoughts.

I got off my bed and walked closer to the window. I stopped when I see something on the floor. I crouched to pick it up.

A letter.
