Inaya silently sat on her chair sipping her coffee. This was her favourite place. She was a regular customer of this cafe. It was on the top floor of one of the highest buildings in the city and from here she can see the whole city.

Soft cool breeze kissed her face and she took another sip of her hot drink. She sighed. She didn't want to accept but she was having writer's block. She was pissed. She has been trying to write the first chapter of her new novel but ideas refused to come to her.

"What the hell is wrong with me?" she mumbled under her breath. She believed anyone can have a block but her. She was so good at making stories and imagining stuffs.

She closed her laptop a bit harshly. She needs some inspiration and a good plot to write and here she was having none of it. She looked around the cafe which was bustling with people. Maybe she can find a story here.

Sitting in the futhermost corner of the cafe she observed everyone. Mostly there were college students who were just chilling. Dropping the idea of finding a story here she started at the vast city.

She wanted to be away from crowd that's why she came here in the first place but she forgot that it was Saturday evening and most of the crowd would be found in such places. She was lost in her thoughts when a voice brought her back to reality.

"Excuse me" a manly voice said. "Can I sit here?" he asked pointing at the empty seat.

"Actually there is no place to sit and I am starving. So, if you don't mind can I sit here?" he asked and she nodded in response.

"Thanks" he said and kept his laptop bag next to his chair and the book he was holding on the table.

Inaya was busy admiring the handsome man infront of her. Six feet tall with light stubble and messy black hair. Oh! How lucky she felt to share table with him.

"By the way I am Prithvi" he pulled out his hand for a handshake.

"I am In--" before she could introduce herself the book caught her attention. "Hey that book" she exclaimed.

"This one" he held up the book and he nodded. "Have you read it?" he asked and she thought for a while before answering.

"I am going to" she said with a smile.

"Then don't" he banged the book on the table.

"Why?" she frowned.

"Because it's the worst book anyone could read. I mean what was the author even thinking before writing this crap. Two people introduced to eachother by their families and then they fall in love and in the end they die in a car accident. Wow!" he said throwing his hands up in the air.

"So? What's wrong in it? It was their destiny. They promised eachother that they will live together and die together. Their love was so strong that even death can't sperate them" she explained.

"There is nothing like love. It's just attraction, infatuation or lust nothing else" he picked up the menu.

She chuckled and that caught his attention. "What?" he asked.

"Nothing" she replied. "Do try their thin crust pizza, it's amazing" she added.

"I didn't catch your name" Prithvi said.

"If we meet again I will definitely tell you. Bye" she collected her stuff and got up. "Also thank you for the honest review" she continued.

Before Prithvi could say anything further she left. He gave the order for thin crust pizza and sat there comfortably enjoying the view.

On the other hand, Inaya kept on thinking what Prithvi said. Well, not everyone could like what she writes but right now that wasn't her concern. A broker had left the key of the apartment just adjacent to her with her as a new renter was going to come and he was running late. She sat on the sofa and stared at the key kept on the tea table. She isn't having a good feeling about it.

Brushing off these thoughts she sipped her coffee and began typing. Hardly she had typed ten words and then she erased everything.

"Ugh!" she groaned in frustration. "Fuck this" she closed her laptop and threw it on the sofa. She seriously needs a break. Picking up her phone she started scrolling through internet searching where she can go for a vacation. Maybe she should go to New York and catch up with her brother and her sister-in-law, but she just went there three months ago.

The door bell rang. She grabbed the keys from the table and unlocked the door.

"He--You? Are you stalking me?" she asked looking at Prithvi who was standing with an equally shocked reaction.

"What? No. Why would I stalk you?" he asked.

"Maybe to know my name" she shrugged.

"What? I live here" he said pointing at the wooden door of the apartment.

"Whatever! Here are your keys" she gave it to him and their hands brushed. Butterflies erupted in their stomach but they didn't show it.

"Thanks" he said and turned around to leave.

"Accha suno" he turned around to face her "agar kuch chahiye ho na toh--"

"Tum se maang lu ga" he completed for her.

"Nahi. Kirana store pass meh hi hai waha chale jana" she smirked.

"Oh! Okay! Umm goodnight" he was so embarrassed.

"Goodnight" she replied giggling.
