funky ol diary thingie thing

entry 8

the early morning sun rose as the kingdom bells chimed
wakin me up in the process
i squinted as i looked up at the town's clock that stood in the middle of the quiet, empty town it resided in
it read 8am
my eyes shot wide open as i quickly got up from the ground
the knight ceremony starts at only a few minutes from now
i began to rush over to the gates that led inside the castle
surprisingly the gates were already wide open for me to enter inside
a guard stood by the entrance of the castle before guiding me inside
we went through a couple of hallways and nice stairs before he led me to this huge room
it seems to be a main room due to the chandelier hanging from the middle of the room with a huge space in between two flights of stairs on both sides
in the middle of the room stood a couple of men
they were standin in a line as they waited for the king and the prince they were aiming to be the personal knight of
i took a breath as i stood by one of the men
he didnt say anythin, rather just stood there
he took a look at him
he was blonde, shorter than me - well i mean im taller than everyone in the room
yknow
bein a 7foot tall guy..
but anyway
he seemed to be average with strength i mean his shirt has got long sleeves n i dont see and muscle from than
but i digress
most of the guys were like him just different hair, skin, n body builds
i took another breath as i tried to count how many more minutes will pass until the prince n the king arrives
which was only about 6 minutes
since i saw a guard enter the room n just stood in front of us
before announcing that the king and the prince had arrived
i watched the doors before seeing two figures walkin inside
one was short and the other was tall
once they could be seen more clearly with the light, it was indeed the the prince and the king
the king was tall and wore this nice cloak/cape and a huge crown to top it all off
the prince wore this comfortable gown
it looked really nice too
the king hummed at us
in which we all bowed to the highnesses of the two
before standin up straight
he looked at everyone
up and down twice before looking at the next guy n then the next
what i found understandable was when the king looked at me
he just stared at my face n thats it
he took his eyes off of me before looking at one of the guys in the middle
he was
sure, handsome
had slick back hair and a royal blouse with a vest
as well as black pants n boots
the king pointed at him and turned to the prince
'this young man here seems to be an immaculate fit for a knight, am not wrong, young one ?'
he said in a deep tone
i looked to the side
i mean i knew i had it comin
im just some guy who sleeps in alleyways n doesnt even have a royal family or heritage
i sighed quietly, gettin ready to take my leave when the guard announces to do so
but
my mind changed as soon as the prince spoke up . . .
