Chapter 12:"Mate?"

Sarah's POV:

I had to tell the others, I galloped over to Lilly and told her everything. We started gathering up as many horses as we could to fight. I just hope these attackers aren't that strong.

April's POV(Finally):

After the buckskin paint mare led me over to Tate, he was immediately glued to me.

"April I was worried about you, thank god your ok!" he said while tossing his mane.

"Um ok? So this is where your horse wanted to take us?"

"Yea and um apparently I'm supposed to be the alpha of this herd."

"What? Really?"

"Yea, I haven't told anyone yet."

"Well go! You shouldn't be kept from you duties anymore!" I said while laughing.

He walked over to some horses and asked them who the alpha was. Tate walked over to an old looking chestnut mare, and they walked off together. I trotted off into the woods, when some wolf shifters jumped out, I screamed in terror and ran as fast as I could out of the woods. As I got back to the herd, the buckskin paint(Sarah) was there starring at the woods. The wolves got to the border, just before Sarah and a big black wolf locked eyes.

"Mate," they said in unison. What?
