Chapter 2

Gordon's POV: (midnight)

I look out the window, not being able to sleep, i instantly see someone on the beach. I grab my jacket before walking to the beach.

As i get closer i see a blue haze come from their hands, Lilly. I chose not to move closer, as i see her make a bunch of blue roses appear on the ocean.

*A Year later* (Lilly and Gordon are now 23)

Everyday i have noticed that Lilly has been training and sitting at the beach. This time, i sit next to her. "Hey" i say and she looks at me. "i'm sorry for what i did to you, i guess i reacted wrong"

Lilly smiles a bit. "yer, but i forgive you" She says, i smile before we chat for a bit before a major wave grows closer to the island. "What the hell is that"

We stand up as the others join. "Please tell me that this is a drill" Scott says, Dad shakes his head.

Lilly's eyes glow before we all see a massive blue energy wall appear in front of the wave. "Whatever it is, we need to end it quickly, we don't know how long Lilly can hold it" Virgil says, we all look upon the wave.

After a while we are pulled out of our thoughts by a scream, i look at Lilly, only to be met by glowing eyes, hair floating and glowing blue veins all over her arms, face and neck.

"She's straining herself!" I yell, my voice laced with worry, gaining the attention of the others. "Who ever did this, is going to get it"

Brains says he has a way but it needs to be place under the water. Scott asks Lilly if she can hold it "I should be able to" Lilly says. I give her a look of worry "Look, if you have a way to stop it then do it"

Scott looks at me, knowing i can hold my breath longer then anyone, i nod and run to Brains, grabbing the tech before diving under the energy wall.

I swim to the bottom and place the tech, before noticing another machine, which i grab.

I swim back to the island, the wave dropping as soon as the mysterious machine is out of the water "found what did it, now to who placed it" i say as i hand it over to Brains for him to look at.

Lilly smiles a bit as she drops the wall, after making sure the water is fully gone and not going to drop on us, before falling backwards.

I run and catch her, noting that her eyes have stopped glowing and the veins have disappeared, her hair has also stopped floating, before taking her to her room and place her on her bed. "rest, you drained your energy" she nods before falling asleep.

I smile lightly, place a blanket over her, before walking out and seeing my brothers and dad smiling. "when did this happen" Dad asks, i just say before the wave incident. "cool"

Scott looks at me. I raise my eyebrow. "at least you ain't fighting" Scott says, i nod.

*3 months later*

Me and Virgil are waiting in Thunderbird 2, waiting for Lilly to get back, i'm sat upside down on my chair, but fall when we hear a gun go off on coms.

I quickly get up as Virgil brings up Lilly's body camera. "To the twat who just shot me in my leg, your going to regret it!" Lilly yells, i smile before we see Lilly fall.

"FML" Lilly sends a blast at one of the people before the camera goes black.

I start to panic. "Get the footage back up" i say to Virgil, who says he's trying, "try harder" he gives me a glare. "Lilly, you on coms?"

After a while, we get nothing. I try again, before we hear coughing. I look at Virgil, he shakes his head.

He indicates to me but i shake my head before we turn to look behind us, only to see Lilly with the gunshot wound to her leg and a deep cut on her side.
