(Frank's POV)I'm in the wings of the Garnier with Pinky. Clive split off in the hopes of finding Lena and the time piece; I'm not sure how much I trust him to succeed, which is why I brought Pinky with me, to double our chances.
I see Lena, and I turn to Pinky, finally having found her.
"Alright, she's right there! This is it Pinky," he smirked at me, both of us feeling victorious. I turned to go after her, and saw she isn't there, "where'd she go?" I asked knowing that Pinky has no clue.
"I d'know boss. Why don't we ask that girl?" He gestured to someone nearby.
"Fine. You stay here, I'll ask her."
There, I approached a girl doing some sort of ballet spins, pirouettes maybe. She isn't in any sort of costume yet, but I assume she's part of the show.
Walking closer, her spins come to a stop. Her back is still turned, so I tap it lightly to get her attention.
"Umm, excuse me, I was wondering if..." I trail off, looking at her; she's gorgeous. Looking at her, every thought left my mind, replaced with her.
What's her name? Who is she? Is she somehow linked to Lena, meaning I can see her again? I'm not one for ballet, but I want to see her dance on the stage.
I bet she's beautiful and graceful on stage.
"Umm..." I blushed a deep red, voice high pitched and cracking. I cough lightly to get some strength back in my voice, and rub the back of my neck. I'm about to continue speaking, to hopefully amend the embarrassment I'd just caused for myself, face still a light shade of pink, when she spoke instead.
"Look, I'm sorry, but if this isn't absolutely, urgently, terribly important, then I kind of need you to fuck off, because I have... shit... I have only fifteen fucking minutes 'til I have to go on stage, and that may seem like a lot, but it really isn't, and this show kinda, is, absolutely, urgently, terribly important, so, please, continue, if you're query is that important."
Frank just looked at her with a blank expression. He didn't know what to say. All he knew, is that he couldn't afford to get caught up with a girl right now.
"Umm, so, y'know what, never mind, I don't want to disturb you, I'll just..." I spoke, backing away slightly. It was better to just leave.
"Well you already have! So, you might as well carry on."
"Um, ok, well... I was wondering if you knew where I can find a girl called Lena?" I asked with a smile and flushed cheeks.
"Lena? Oh shit! You're a Time Collector, aren't you?" She spoke with a frustrated expression, and my smile dropped "I got distracted, and it was by a Time Collector no less. Shit!"
She started berating herself, and I walked back to Pinky, assuming she wasn't going to give us any information. It was probably for the best.
"C'mon, she knows who we are." I tell him, and we start walking in the other direction to her. She was no doubt texting her friends our whereabouts, so it's best she doesn't know where we're going.
