Ever since Mickey had found the crumpled paper, with a proposal speech on it, under their shared bed; he had been excited as hell for this ceremony.

They have both been simultaneously reviewing the very well-detailed wedding plans since July - now December. Of course, along with the constant commentary from the girls. Fiona is always modifying color choice, or V's two senses on cake design, and the never-ending argument with Mandy about owning real gold rings or not.

Now it was just the final step, finalizing the guest list. The two lovers of course already have their family list written down, now it was just left for friends list clarification.

"Mick," Ian says.

Mickey looks over at Ian and away from his phone, "Yeah?"

"You think we should invite Terry?" Ian asks.

Mickey's head spun so fast he almost gave himself whiplash. The look of pure fear was written all over his face which was not returned from the redhead, who sported a shit-eating grin. Mickey almost chokes on his next words, "What?"

"Oh fuck. I'm kidding Mick," Ian giggles, "Hey you, okay?"

"Yeah, it's just, kinda still nerve-racking as fuck. If it weren't for Fiona's random-ass relationship with that lawyer, we probably would've never got that restraining order," Mickey says leaning against his soon-to-be husband, "He'd fucking shoot the shit outta me for this shit, you know."

"I know, it's okay babe," Ian reassures with a small smile, "He can't do anything anymore. Well, unless he wants time in the joint."

Mickey just shrugged.

When Mickey had found the note with the proposal speech he had cried. Of course, Ian never knew about the crying part, but he knew about the missing paper as it was removed from its spot. He had originally thought it was one of his siblings who must have picked it up. Then again which of his siblings willingly does chores? So, the second and only option had to be, Mickey.

Now at first, he panicked, as he had planned to wait a couple more months to slowly ease his marriage wishes on his boyfriend - as he feared Mickey would say no. To Mickey's surprise when Ian confronted him on the note, which led to Mickey's decision to propose to Ian right then and there - of course using proposal words for Ian though.

Ever since then, it's just been a smooth ride through the months. Endless planning and "too much touching" according to Lip.

Unsurprisingly when Terry had somehow got ahold of the news, he was quick to jump into murder plans. Which had failed of course considering the many Gallaghers who were all there, which only meant there would be too many witnesses to the crime.

Ian had been proactive this time around, deciding to get ahold of Fiona's lawyer boyfriend and work in filing restraining orders on Terry. Now all that was left of him was the continuous tormenting comments from the man, always yelling homophobic shit when the two were walking past the Milkovich house on the way to the 'L'.
