BOBBY
Bobby knew he should have said something. He didn't want to encourage Scarlett to go after anyone else but he still didn't have the guts to tell her why. What if he poured his heart out and she just laughed? Or felt sorry for him and then stopped hanging out with him all Summer because it was awkward? But he knew it wasn't fair on Noah and Hope either. He wasn't Hope's biggest fan and he was sure lots of people agreed with Scarlett's opinion of her, but she didn't deserve the girls deliberately plotting to steal her partner. But if he told her? Scarlett and Priya's life would be made hell by her he was sure; there was something about Hope that scared him slightly but he couldn't put his finger on it. And worst of all, then he'd lose his two best friends in the villa.
As soon as they'd left the daybeds Priya and Scarlett had hurried off to talk about Noah and Bobby and Lucas walked reluctantly to the kitchen, both feeling uneasy about the situation. Gary was wrestling with the smoothie maker and swearing under his breath.
"If the blades are on the bottom....why isn't it flush with the base....there's a fucking o-ring missing..." he muttered as he tried to pull it open.
"You okay?" Bobby asked.
"Want some help?" Lucas offered.
"I know about machines, I can do it," Gary snapped.
"I could make something else to drink?" Bobby offered, sensing Gary was rather rattled. "Are there instructions in the box?"
"I don't need instructions," Gary said. "I can work a bloody crane, I think I can make a smoothie!"
"Have you tried..." Lucas started.
"There's an o-ring missing," Gary repeated, "I need another o-ring for it!"
"That makes sense," Bobby replied, "What's an o-ring? Is it like a cock ring?" he laughed, trying to lighten to mood. Even Gary cracked a smile.
"Someone's taken it out of the box," Gary said. "Maybe someone's going to propose in here with it!"
"Probably Noah," Lucas said wryly.
"I can't see Hope accepting anything less than a massive fuck off diamond," Gary laughed. "I blame Rocco, he was always messing about with this thing."
"Have you seen Hope?" Bobby asked, anxious about what Scarlett and Priya were now up to.
"Nope," Gary replied. "Noah was upstairs in the dressing room then they had a blazing argument about something and she stormed off to the roof terrace. Think she's still up there." Bobby looked around the lawn and breathe a sigh of relief as he saw Scarlett chatting with Rahim; Priya though, was no where to be seen. "I'm sure they'll sort it before the party, I'm looking forward to some drinks and seeing these hot girls shaking their things on the dancefloor." The other boys both laughed nervously before Bobby's head filled with the memories of the last party they had where Scarlett spent the night with Henrik all over her on the dancefloor before making out with him for hours. She was an amazing dancer for sure and tonight there was no Henrik for her to dance with. Maybe if Priya did manage to get between Noah and Hope then Scarlett would be left on her own tonight, looking for a new dance partner. Priya was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, what guy wouldn't go for her if she tried it on with them? Then he remembered when she'd tried to kiss him and he'd turned her down, maybe Noah would too? "Right, let's go see what mood the Lottie Lotto is spitting out this afternoon," Gary said, breaking Bobby from his thoughts. "I never know what I'm going to get with her! She said she was going for a bath and didn't want to be disturbed, do you think that's code for she wants me to disturb her in there?" he laughed, wiggling his dark eyebrows.
