(Jongsuk's PoV)

"YAH! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW?!" Hayoung yelled after she saw me working at the fields three days right after waking up.

"As you can see, Milady, I'm working right now," I replied nonchalantly.

"That's precisely the problem. You almost bled to death a few days ago and now, you're working as if nothing bad happened to you," Hayoung explained. "And I bet that you haven't eaten your breakfast yet."

"Come to think of it, I haven't taken anything since waking up but, I'm not hungry anyway so it's okay," I replied.

"Then it would be better if you eat with us first," Hayoung said as she drag me with one hand.

"Milady, how can I eat peacefully with your groupmates around? It won't be comfortable for all of us if we sit down in one table, you know," I commented.

"Seoyeon-ah and I already explained everything to them," Hayoung said. "And besides, I don't think you're stupid enough to start a fight with Hatori-san around, right?" she asked.

"Huh?! Do you really think that you can threaten me using that kid? Stop joking around, please," I answered.

"Hatori-san might not be a threat to you but, I'm definitely sure that you'll get annoyed if he starts pestering you," Hayoung replied while smirking. "Shall I ask him to personally invite you to breakfast instead, Mister?" she asked.

"Aish, this lady," I said, thinking about how troublesome the situation will be if Seraph invites me instead of her. "Make sure that the food is good," I commented as I start walking towards the house.

(Hayoung's PoV)

This is really nerve-wracking, having to invite this guy to eat with us, I thought while following Jongsuk inside his house.

The truth is, it is originally Saerom Unnie's idea, which I kinda find awkward. However, we still can't deny the fact that, aside from being our host, he's also our benefactor given the fact that he fought the Savants that tried to target us.

"Uhm, girls...he's here," I said after seeing everyone stop eating while looking at all of us.

"Uhm...hello, I guess?" Saerom Unnie answered.

Yah! It's already awkward Romsae! Don't make it feel much worse! I thought to myself.

What I didn't expect, however, are the  events that happened next.

After seeing everyone around, Jongsuk stepped forward and faced them.

"Greetings, everyone. By now, I'm very certain that all of you here remember me by the name of Phoenix, the man who abducted you in the US more than three years ago. I'm also aware of the possibility that most of you still bear grudges and fear towards me due to the trauma you got from that experience. With that, I myself knew that a sincere apology from me will not be enough," Jongsuk said. "But still, it doesn't mean that I shouldn't try on doing it. And for that, I'M REALLY SORRY," he added, bowing in front of us.

"Jongsuk-ssi..." I said.

Jiheon stepped forward and face him.

"Are you still planning on fighting Jung Minsung Oppa and Hatori-san?" she asked.

"JIHEON-AH!" I yelled after realizing that Jiheon had just revealed Thanatos' identity to Jongsuk.

"Hmmm...is that Thanatos' name in this world? Well...to tell you frankly, I still hate him," Jongsuk replied. "But even if I have the power of Phoenix just like before, I have no more reason to fight him."
