| 10. His confession |

"Monami, mujhe tumse ek bohot important baat kehni hai," Karan said looking at her earnestly.

"Bolo naa Karan, kya kehna hai" Monami said.

"Monami... woh baat yeh hai ki...actually..." he spoke stopping every now and then.

"Karan, tum thik ho naa, aise kyu baat kar rahe ho, kuch hua hai kya tumhe" she asked concerned.

"Nahi, main bilkul thik hu, bas baat hi aisi hai" he spoke and she was confused.

"Jo bhi hai bol do Karan," she said signing him to say it.

He looked at her, took a deep breath, "I love you, Monami" Karan said looking at her.

Monami was silent for the next few moments, he waited for her reaction, she looked at him and smiled, "I love you too, Karan" saying so she hugged Karan tightly, he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, this was it, this was the happiest moment of his life, he broke the hug and looked at her, he planted a soft kiss on her forehead, and then he picked her up in his arms and twirled her around, she looked at him and they laughed looking at each other.

Zara zara si neend bhi,
Ajnabi si hogayi,
Zara zara chain se,
Dushmani si hogayi,

Tum mile kho gaya,
Hai khud ka hi pata,
Kya karun, kya nahi,
Kuch bas mein na raha,
Samjhun kaise koi samjhaye...

"Aah..."Karan fell from the bed, he looked around and saw that he was on the floor of his room; he smiled scratching the back of his neck as he realized was watching a dream.

Dil kya kare jab kisi se,
Kisi ko pyaar ho jaye,
Jaane kaha kab kisi ko,
Kisi se pyaar ho jaye...

Karan smiled thinking about the dream and Monami, however, he stopped smiling and looked up as he heard someone laughing and looked at the door, he saw Faizi laughing at him.

"Yehi dekhna baki tha ki ab tu Monami ke sapne dekhte-dekhte bed se gir jaye" Faizi said between the laughs, he couldn't stop laughing at Karan's state, "Kaash humne yeh haseen pal apne phone mein qaid kiya hota, zindagi bhar tujhe satate"

"Tujhe kaise pata chala ki sapne mein Monami thi," Karan asked without realizing the blunder he was creating, Faizi stopped laughing for a moment and looked at Karan shocked, and in the next moment, he began laughing more making Karan realize the blunder he had created.

"Toh janaab ke sapne mein sach mein unki Rani Sahiba aayi thi," Faizi said laughing, "Humne toh andhere mein teer choda tha, yeh toh sach mein nishaane par lag gaya"

"Do baatein, Faizuddin Siddique" Karan said finally getting up from the floor, "Pehli, ki agar tune yeh baat kisiko bhi, khaskar us namoone Siddharth ko batayi toh main tera bohot bura haal karunga" he walked towards Faizi, "Aur dusri ki use Rani Sahiba sirf main bula sakta hu" and Karan walked away.

"Aisa kaise ho sakta hai ki hum yeh baat Sid ko naa bataye, Sid kya, hum toh Sanju aur Koel ko bhi batayenge" Faizi said smirking, this was his golden chance to tease his best friend, his ulti-khopdi, he was not going to let it go.

"Monu bro, itna kya soch rahi hai" Sid's voice broke Monami's trance, they all were sitting in the mess having their breakfast, Monami was still thinking about the conversation she had heard between Sid and Faizi last night about Divya and Karan, "Bhuk nahi hai kya tujhe, breakfast kyu nahi kha rahi" he asked her.

"Monami, tum thik toh feel kar rahi ho naa, kal jo hua usase tabiyat abhi bhi thik nahi hai kya" Koel also asked her, Monami smiled seeing their concern for her.
