Okay so I am not at all good with these drills, sports and all, so I will not give detailed information about the entire competition, but you all can imagine it to be similar to the competition, that had happened in the movie "Student of the Year" (the first part with Alia, Sid, and Varun).

The tasks are all similar to the movie, first swimming (here the temperature of the water is lower than normal temperatures), then cycling (here the cycling path also has some hurdles added), and last is the race.

However, the best cadet trophy will not only be given on the basis of who comes first in this last competition, but on the growth shown in the complete year in all the various tasks, they have performed in the past year.

Sid was going towards the swimming pool area from where the competition would begin, he was walking along the corridor, when his eyes fell on something shining in the sunlight, he bent down and picked up the thing, he was surprised seeing a gold ring, "Ring... yeh toh real gold ki lag rahi hai... shayad kisise yaha gir gayi hai..." he thought looking at the ring, "Abhi toh apne pass rakh leta hu... competition ke baad Ustaad ji ko keh dunga, woh dekh lenge kiski ring hai aur kya karna hai iske saath..." he thought and kept the ring in his pocket and walked towards the swimming pool area.

"All the best cadets..." Col. Batra said looking at all of them as they assembled around the swimming pool, "I am sure you all will make me proud..." he said with a smile, he had seen them all progress in the past one year, and was sure no matter who came first, he knew they all were going to win, "Shergill... let us start..." he said and Karan nodded.

"Take your positions now..." Karan said loudly and all the cadets started taking their positions, "All the best sabko..." he said and they all nodded at him, he could not stop himself from looking at Monami, not that he was being partial as a trainer, but how could he not look at his lady before her important day, to his surprise Monami was already looking at him, he blinked his eyes at her, she smiled seeing him, and he smiled back, he then signed Faizi who nodded at him.

"On your mark... get set... go..." Faizi announced and Sanjana blew the whistle, as soon as the whistle was blown the cadets jumped into the pool, which had freezing cold water, it took them all a few moments to stable themselves, but soon composing themselves, one by one they all started swimming, as the task continued Koel was in lead followed by Sid, and then Monami, the other cadets were also in a close range, each one picking up pace with time.

Even the families of all the cadets had come to cheer them for their important day, everyone was cheering for one another.

Koel was the first one to come out of the swimming pool, she quickly removed the goggles and the cap, and started running towards the place where all the cycles were parked, following her Monami, Sid and Chitra also came out of the pool, they all removed the goggles and cap and ran towards the cycles, in the next few moments, Bala, Suman ji and Prem ji were also out of the pool and running towards the cycles.

Although Koel was still in the lead, everyone was amazed by the pace Bala had picked up with his cycle, in no time had he not only crossed Monami, Sid and Chitra, but had also reached near Koel, and if he continued with the same, in no time would he take over Koel also, and as predicted, in the next few minutes Bala had taken over and now was in the lead.

Karan smiled seeing this, he remembered his first meeting with Bala, and now today, the boy had shown immense growth and Karan was happy that he was able to play a vital role in giving Bala, a better life, a life he actually deserved.
