Chapter 23

Skye's POV:
Me and Chase were walking through the woods on our way to Katie's but we run into lost Coyote pups.
"Can you help us?" The biggest asked.
"Oh are you lost?" I ask.
"Skye careful there parents may be around here somewhere." Chase said worryingly.
"Chase I will be fine." I said.
"We can't find our pack." They said.
"Okay Chase can you sniff out their pack?" I ask.
"Ya but Skye I don't think this is a good idea." He said.
"Well if anything happens we can handle it." I said.
"Fine." He said as he started sniffing.
"This way." He said as he ran North. We then followed until we reached an old cabin. And when we are 20 feet away from the cabin we hear growling.
"Momma. Dada. Donta hurts thema theya helped us getta home!" The little one yelled. Then we don't hear growling and see two full grown coyotes.
"Oh kids you're alright!" The mother said.
"Who are you two pups?" The father asked.
"I'm Chase and this is Skye." Chase introduced us.
"Skye why are you with a German Shepherd? I thought you hated them." Someone said.
"Liberty?" I said.
"You know them Libs." The mother asked.
"Ya she is my best friend." Liberty said.
"Oh Liberty. Hey I didn't recognize you." I said.
"Ya I know my old owner dropped me off a mile or two away from here last year from Adventure City." Liberty said.
"So you and these coyotes are helping each other survive out here?" I asked.
"No we are helping her right now. She has a sprained paw right now." The mother said.
"Ya when they go hunt I watch the kids while they're asleep but they got up and since I can't walk a lot and so they were able to run off." Liberty said sadly.
"Hey Libs it's not your fault. And besides if these cute pups didn't help a wolf probably would've got.... wait where is Nate?" The mother asked.
