Shiro pounced knocking Coran backwards into the pod. The pod sliding shut immediately with Coran frozen in place shocked.
Lance had fallen to floor but as soon as Coran disappeared he took off out of the room. He knew something wasn't right. Shiro wasn't Shiro anymore.
He needed Keith. But Lance wasn't sure how to get Keith back. So until he did he needed to hide.
Things go wrong if he doesn't hide. He could hear Shiro shouting and starting to give chase. Lance ran to his and Keith's room, the door sliding shut behind him.
The panel next to the door was just out of reach. Lance scanned the room and dragged books, toys, anything to make him taller to reach it.
Thundering steps grew closer as he reached for the panel. Lance took a chance and jumped his hand slamming the panel locking to door.
Letting his stuff fall in front of the door he ran to the bed, crawling under the covers and tucking himself into the corner.
And waited.
Footsteps stormed past. But Lance refused to move. Tears fell from his eyes as he tried to stay quiet.
"Where are you, Lance? I'm not going to hurt you." Shiro called out.
But Lance knew he wasn't really Shiro. He voice was harsher and his eyes glowed yellow.
Shiro had started to make his ways back the way he had come passing Keith's room again. He slowed down outside the door and Lance felt his heart stop.
"La-ance! I know you're in here!" The creepiness in Shiro's sing song voiced laced with a gravelly undertone while simultaneously knocking on the door.
Lance let out a whimper as Shiro then proceeded to hammer on the door, knowing he was in there.
"You can't hide in there forever. You know what happens when you don't listen" Shiro snarled.
Lance's heart pounded in his chest. Pain came from not listening, but hiding kept the pain away.
The electric pad outside the door fizzed before the power in the room faded, disappearing completely as the door opened. A fail safe so no one was trapped in the room.
The dark form of the black paladin stood in the doorway, his galra arm illuminated.
Lance shrank back against the wall. Shiro stepped through the stuff Lance had used to try and block door. Everything falling away easily.
Whispers began circulating the room, eerie and quiet and Lance couldn't make out what they were. For a three year old his vocabulary wasn't that large yet.
But Shiro understood as his eyes glowed a little brighter.
"Understood ma'am. He needs a harsher form of punishment. Besides he's old enough to learn." Shiro's belt fell to the floor.

The galra surrounded the lions as the fought to defend the castle.
The team were stressed and exhausted. The fleets seemed never ending.
"Come on!" Keith grunted.
He wanted to get back to Lance. With everything that was going on with Shiro, we wasn't really ready to leave them alone together.
But the universe doesn't care or wait for him to be ready.
With another ice blast from Blue the half ships suddenly stopped and disappeared through a wormhole.
"What just happened?" Hunk voice filtered through the comms.
"I don't know." Pidge replied.
"Let's just get back to the castle and get out of here."
The turned and flew back to the castle. After landing in the loading bays, the team regrouped in the main room.
Shiro, Coran and Lance were no where to be seen. Keith's worry came back as he turned to search the castle.
"Keith! Wait!" Allura called out. " Shiro should be in a pod. He would know where they are."
Keith paused before rushing to the pods. Lifting up the one taken everyone froze as they saw Coran stuck inside with a look of pure horror on his face
Keith ran from the room immediately, Lance was in danger.
"LANCE! LANCE WHERE ARE YOU
Keith ran to the bedrooms. He could start to hear crying from his room. He pushed to run faster, finally reaching his door which was stuck open...
and a belt laying in the floor.
