Castiel is sitting on a bench, keeping his fingers crossed. He takes a deep breath and smells the smell of wet grass. He is in Heaven, precisely in a man's heaven, which is a beautiful day of October in a park, where it has just stopped raining. It's sunny and some clouds are travelling across the sky. Although he is an angel, he appreciates this beauty, this calm. He smiles. This is one of his favourite heavens, he feels close of humans, sometimes he stays long here ...

But never enough for him.

He looks at the man walking on the grass, smoking a pipe, a satisfied smile on his face. He doesn't know that there is someone looking at him, he does not know that it is an angel either. Castiel is desired, up to his soul, to be like him : Calm and happy ... Whatever, be human.

But he can't.

Angels always call him to do a work. The sky isn't as quiet as it looks like. He would stay on Earth if he could and live a normal life. Just one time. But he knows it's impossible because angels don't have to be with humans. It's the rule, and as a good soldier he has to respect it.

Suddenly, he hears a bell ringing in his mind. It's Heaven.

He sighs.

"Yes?"

...

Hello Uriel.

...

I have to find a man?

...

Well.

...

His name?

...

How do I find it, if you do not tell me his name?

...

... But ... How will I know? What do you mean?

...

(Sighs)

Well.

...

Of course, I obey, I always do.

...

Yes, I'll kill him.

...

You too. Bye.

The voice in his mind stops. He furrows his eyebrows. He wonders why Uriel doesn't want to say his name, but he is a soldier, if they say that he doesn't have to know, he accepts without question.

He stands up from the bench and correctly puts his trench coat on. He looks with melancholy the park, he would like to stay here but has no other choice to leave.

He starts walking. The man's Heaven erases and just stays a blank space. That's what there is between two humans' heaven, a blank space, which pretty looks like white clouds, like in the Bible. But suddenly he feels a pain in his head. At first he ignores it, it's just a tinkling in his mind. But the pain is getting worse, and it begins to be very painful. It is as if someone is crushing him from the inside. He stops and puts his hand on his skull. What is happening? Castiel groans and falls to the floor, his hands on his head. He is breathing heavily, the sound is getting louder and louder and everything seems to revolve around him. He is wondering what's going on. He tries to call his brothers and sisters for help but the pain is too strong and keeps him from doing it. He screams in pain but it's like his scream can't pass his lips and no sound leaves his mouth. Some blood starts to flow from his nose. The pain is unbearable. He thinks that his head is going to explode.

Then...nothing.

He feels nothing. No pain, no suffering anymore.

Nothing.

His body doesn't move anymore and his mind is confused, he may not reflect correctly. It is like in a dream, except that the angels never dream. His eyes are closed, but he feels the wind blowing in his hair and his clothes. But there is no wind in Heaven, isn't there? He doesn't know what is happening. He feels so weak, his mind is numb and fuzziness ... He finally opens his eyes and sees ...

The sky.

It's night and there are so many stars...

"It's a beautiful night ..." Castiel thinks.

Then he notices that they are shrinking, as if they are fleeing. He wonders why. But his mind is so clouded ...

He suddenly understands. They are not fleeing. That's him.

He's falling.

He is falling from the sky.
