They get together in the car and Dean explains that he is going to drive them to a lonely bar he saw on the verge, before their meeting. Castiel nods, a bit absent. He doesn't really care now.
He stays silent all the way, his head puts on the window. He wants to cry. He wants to scream. He is broken from the inside. The thing that makes him what he is, has been snatched and he will never have it again. Why does this happen to him? Did he do something wrong? Sometimes he feels Dean's green eyes on him. He doesn't understand his pain.
How can he? He is only human.

Castiel doesn't know how many times he stays lost in his thoughts. But he is suddenly woke up by someone knocking on the window. He jumps. It's Dean.

"Cas' what are you doin'?"

The fallen raises his head. There is the bar in front of them. He hasn't noticed they arrived, lost in his thoughts. He opens the car's door and stands up next to Dean. They exchange a look and Castiel plunges into Dean's eyes. During a few seconds, he forgets his misfortune. It's the greenest green he has ever seen with the sunbeam coming through it. Some humans say that eye is the mirror of the soul.
In that case, Dean must have a really beautiful soul.
Dean suddenly looks away, breaking his thoughts again, and Castiel notices that his cheeks are rosy.

"Why is he blushing?" He wonders.

Dean clears his throat.
"Let's go."

Then he quickly walks to the door, following by Castiel. They sit at a table and Dean takes a set menu. Castiel turns his head and looks outside with this farway look he usually has. After a few seconds Dean raises his eyes from his menu.

"Are you hungry?" He asks.

Castiel shrugs his shoulders.

"No."

Dean raises an eyebrow.

"You are exhausted, you should eat."

"I don't need to eat."

"Humans always need to eat! You aren't human or what?" He smirked.

Castiel sighs.

"...I don't even know."

Dean is going to say something but stops. A woman comes, asking their orders. Dean asks a cherry pie then she leaves and comes back a few minutes later with. Dean thanks her and starts eating, Castiel always in his thoughts.

"How did you find me?" The angel finally asks, after two minutes of silence.

"I didn't know you very well..." he begins, the mouth full of pie, "But I knew that you were lost and that you wanted to understand what happened to you. So I did what I would do in your case: come back where all began."
He takes a new bite of his pie then adds.

"So?"

"So what?" Castiel answers, tilting his head.

"You know what happened? You may not want to talk about it but when I arrived you were crying..."

"I don't know what happened I just found..."
He stops, being painful to say more.
"...something unthinkable."

Dean furrows his brows.

"Something...Unthinkable?"

"You wouldn't understand." Castiel adds, looking at his hand.

"I can try."

He raises his head. Dean smiles, encouraging him. Castiel takes a deep breath, starring at him.

"What do you think about angels?"

Dean breathes a laugh.

"Angels? Are you kidding?"

"No...Why?"

Dean laughs, thinking he is really kidding him but seeing his serious face he stops.

"I don't believe in angels."

"Why?" Castiel asks, being a bit sad about it.

Dean looks down and Castiel notices some sadness in his eyes.

"Because if angels, God, or whatever, existed...Our world wouldn't be that crap." He whispers.

Castiel feels hurted by his words. Why does he think that? He is going to ask him but a music suddenly rings. Dean takes his phone out of his pocket and looks at the number. He sighs and lets his phone ringing on the table.

"You don't pick up?" Castiel asks.

He shrugs his shoulders.

"It's a wrong number." He smiles, taking a new bite of his pie.

Castiel looks at the phone, still ringing with insistence. He wonders why, if it's a wrong number, the name "Sam" appears on the screen. Following his look, Dean decides to change the conversation.

"Anyway...At the hospital they said I was your only visit. I guess your family doesn't know where you are...What is your adress?"

"Huh...I don't have any adress."

"What? Where do you live then?"

"I...I travel through the world." Castiel lies.

"But you have a family right?"

"Huh...Kind of. They...they are everywhere in the world and I can't join them. But now... I'm doubting they are searching me..."

Dean sighs, crossing his arms.

"You mean you are alone here?"

Castiel nods. Dean closes his eyes during a few seconds, reflecting.

"So you have nowhere to go."

Castiel nods again. Dean seems hesitated during a few seconds then finally says:

"I'm not gonna let you sleep in the street, alone right? So you know what? I'm actually living in a Motel. I'm going to ask a new room and you could rest there until your family finds you. I would be close if you need me. Do you agree?"

"I agree." Castiel answers

Why wouldn't he? He has nothing to lose considering he has nothing anymore. Dean makes a huge smile and puts some money on the table for the pie.

"So here we go."
