Okay, I warm, in this fanfic the Winchesters aren't hunters and I will only talk about angels. So demon, vampires and all the others will not be pronounce.

Enjoy :)

He is cold.
That's the first thing Castiel thinks.
He doesn't feel the wind anymore and he isn't falling either. He only feels a cold thing on all his back. He doesn't know where he is.
Something cold falls on his nose.
He slowly opens his eyes and sees it's snowing. Many snowflakes are falling from the clouds as a multitude of flowers with white petals, in the dark sky of the night. That's a spectacle of great purity. He knows he is laying on the floor and that's snow he feels against his back, drenching his trench-coat. He is on earth, he feels it. On a road in the middle of nowhere, seeing no habitation around. Just next to him there is a huge crater still smoking. It's him who did that when he crushed after his fall. Castiel thinks he should go back to Heaven before someone sees him like this.
He orders to his wings to bring him back home but ... They refuse to obey. He tries a second time but the result is the same. It's like he had no wings anymore, and an angel without wings is a dead angel, he knows it. He starts stressing and tries to move his body but he can't either. His joints are painful and it's hard to move even a finger.

What's happening to him? Is it the fall? Did his wings burn? No it couldn't be true. All these questions without answer which are turning in his confused mind... he was the only one to fall so why?

"What...What happened?" He weakly whispers.

He suddenly hears a sound of a car coming. It was quickly coming and when the conductor sees the crater he firmly smash on the brake pedal, stopping the car with screeching tyres in a shrieking noise. The car's door opens and Castiel hears the "what the hell?" of the man seeing the crater behind him. Then he gets closer to him, but Castiel is so demoralized by the loss of his wings he doesn't even raise his head. The man squats next to him.
"Hey dude, you okay?"
He wants to answer but his eyelids become heavy, and the last thing he remembers before fainting was two beautiful green eyes looking at him

Castiel doesn't know how long does he sleep. But when he wakes up, he isn't in the snow anymore but on a bed. He feels that he can move and he opens his eyes even if he feels his head seems ready to explode. He is in a white and small room. There is a chair next to his bed -which is also white- and he notices that he has sensors on his chest which are connected with a machine which makes "beep-beep" each seconds and there is an unpleasant sour smell in the air and he wrinkles his nose.

He is obviously in a hospital.

He has been here not really often because he didn't like this place and that is always the case. How did he get here? He painfully raises his chest and removes the sensors on his chest. The machine next to him starts making an annoying "beeeeep" so Castiel unplugs it. He stands up -and sighs, seeing he is wearing the ridiculous hospital's dress- and goes toward the window, to look outside. It has stopped snowing and the sun is evaporating the snow on the floor. He wonders how many times does he spend here. He thinks about Heaven and he closes his eyes, ordering to his wings to bring him back there. But again, it doesn't work. So he focuses on, he is so focusing that objects around him starts shaking. A vase next to him explodes and he stops, feeling a headache. At least he hasn't completely lost his powers. He sighs, knowing it was useless. That was absolutely crazy. He fell and doesn't know why. He can't hear his brothers and sisters voices either. He sighs and tries to remember what happened after his fall. He finally remembers the man with green eyes, and he wonders if it's him who brings him here. But the priority at the moment, is to know what happened to him and to his wings. He has to find Uriel.

He suddenly hears footsteps coming towards his room and a nurse enters, seeming surprised.
"Jesus Christ you are awake?"
"No I'm Castiel."
She is so surprised that she doesn't hear what he said.
"But...your body was broken into many pieces!" She whispers.
"Where am I?" He asks with a sigh.
She shakes his head, leaving her thoughts.
"Huh in the Kansas hospital."
Then she finally notices that He is standing up and furrows his eyebrows.
"Sir, you shouldn't have left your bed, you are still convalescent!" then she looks at the sensors on the floor and the broken vase and sighs, "So please stay in your bed, you need some rest."

Castiel squints his eyes.

"I don't need to rest." He wants to add "I'm an angel" but refrains from doing it. "Since when am I here?"

"Two days."

"My brothers must be searching me." Castiel thinks.
Then before she says anything he stands up and goes past her, with the firm intention to leave this hospital, wings or not. The woman jumps and tries to stop him.

"Sir...Sir! You can't leave, you are seriously wounded!"

But Castiel ignores her. He has to find Uriel or another angel but just someone from Heaven who could help him. He starts walking, the nurse still trying to change his decision. But suddenly he feels a new headache and he pushes his head against the wall, squinting painfully his eyes. He is going to fall on the floor but someone holds him before. Castiel weakly raises his head and immediately recognizes the green eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here dude?" the man says.

Castiel wants to answer but no sound leaves his mouth. His head hurts too much. The man sighs.

"I'm going to bring back this little baby in his bed Miss. Don't worry." he says to the nurse.

Castiel observes him. He is blond, good-looking and wearing a black leather jacket and the Fallen angel thinks his eyes have the same colour as wet grass. He takes Castiel's arm and puts it on his shoulder then brings him back to his room, follows by the furious look of the nurse. He slowly puts him on his bed and the angel groans, his head being painful. The man looks at him during a couple of seconds and Castiel acts as if the window was suddenly extremely interesting.

"What's your name?" He finally asks, crossing his arms on his chest.

A bit shy, Castiel doesn't immediately answer.

"I'm Castiel."

Then he looks into the man's green eyes who, after a few seconds, looks away, can no longer endured his insistent look. He pulls an iron flask from his pocket and drinks the liquid inside. Castiel doesn't know why but there was something strange with this man. He can sometimes sees things in humans and when he looks into the man's eyes, he can see some sadness mixing with anger. But that isn't against him.

"Well Castiel...I am the man who found you, completely groggy, in the middle of the road next to a big crater."
He laughs.
"It sounds weird heh? But it's a weird story so..."
He stays silent during a few seconds then sighs.
"I thought I hit you with my car...And I really felt bad you know. But the doctor said that it couldn't be just one car. More like...fifty. I thought that you were never gonna wake up."
Castiel nods.
"How do you feel now?"

Castiel looks at his body, slowly moving his arms.

"I think...I feel good..."

He is lying of course, his head is hurting as hell but he just wants to leave this place. The man furrows his eyebrows.

"Sure? 'Cause when I saw you a few minutes ago I was pretty sure you weren't "good" " he says with a smirk.
Castiel looks down and sighs.
"I...I don't know what's happening to me."
The man sits on the chair next to him.
"Is that...really you who caused this crater?" He asks.
"I guess so. The fall can be hard."
The man makes a surprised face.
"What?"
Castiel remembers that humans aren't really aware about angels. He was tired of lying.
"Sorry it's the shock. I mean of course it wasn't me. I don't...huh...remember what happened before I fainted."
He looks at him his eyes squinted probably wondering if he is lying. Castiel wonders if he has seen something during his fall which could help him to know what happened.
"Have you seen something strange before you found me?" The angel asks, tilting his head.
The man looks away and Castiel notices that He seems ashamed.
"I...I haven't seen what happened. I was...(he takes a break) I...have seen nothing." He finally answers very quickly.
Castiel squints his eyes. He is obviously lying but why? The man suddenly stands up and sighs.
"Well, I guess you need some rest so I'm gonna leave you there. I will come back tomorrow."
"You don't have to." Castiel answers.
The man smiles.
"I am the man who found you so I will be the man who will watch over you!"
Castiel nods. That is really nice and He starts thinking that he is a really kind human.
He is going to leave when he suddenly stops.
"Oh and I forgot. My name is Dean. Dean Winchester."
Then he smiles and leaves the room. Castiel sighs and lays his head on his pillow.
"Dean Winchester..." he whispers, closing slowly his eyes.
