You ran up the stairs to your room. You swung the door open to see Madison laying on her bed with her laptop open.

"Yo, what's with the rush?" Madison said looking up from her computer.

"You'll never believe what just happened," you gasped.

"Girl, slow the fuck down."

As you caught your breath, Zoe walked into the room.

"Hey what's going on guys?" She asked after seeing you out of breath.

"(Y/n) has something important to share I guess," Madison said.

"Cordelia- Cordelia asked me to be her girlfriend," you finally gasped out.

"Oh my god, for real?" Zoe gasped. "Congrats!" She gave you a high-five.

"See, I told you Cordelia liked you," Madison sighed. "Okay, congrats. I'm happy for you," Madison said passively.

"Thanks, Madison!" You grinned.

There was a knock on the door and you all turned to look at the door.

"Hey, girls." It was Cordelia. She smiled at you and then looked at Zoe and Madison. "I want to have a house gathering in the living room in five minutes," she said and then left.

"Thanks, Cordi," Madison mocked. Cordelia glared at her and left.

"I could feel the tension," Madison said. "You two should have confessed years ago. Would have saved the rest of us some air."

You laughed.

You, Zoe and Madison headed into the living room. Myrtle was already there, standing behind the chairs. Zoe and Madison sat on the chairs in front of Myrtle and you plopped onto the couch. Soon Queenie entered. It felt weird to see Queenie walk into the living room without Nan with her. Queenie sat on one of the chairs beside you.

Eventually Cordelia walked in and took a seat next to you on the couch. You felt your heart flutter. You weren't sure how to act towards Cordelia in front of the other girls. Did Cordelia want to tell anyone?

"I have an announcement to make," Cordelia started.

You felt your pulse in your ears. Did Cordelia want to tell everyone? You would love it if she did, but you weren't expecting much from Cordelia. She didn't even live with her ex husband.

"I want to go public about the academy," She finished.

"No way! You can't do that!" Madison yelled. "We're going to get killed!"

"Now hold on Madison. I'm confident this is a good decision,"  she started.

You stared at Cordelia with your jaw open. You definitely weren't expecting this to be the announcement. You looked down at where she was sitting. She sat quite far away from you, as if she didn't want anyone to know you two were even talking to each other. You felt your heart burn.

"Fiona and Marie were able to kill the leaders of the witch hunters, and take their company down. Also, I think it would be great if girls who didn't know about their powers were able to unlock their gifts. We are dying out girls. Look at us, there's only five of us left."

You looked around at the girls. You knew Cordelia was right. There was no way the coven would survive with only five girls left, and maybe a few other graduated witches out there.

"I think you're right, Delia," you said. Cordelia quickly looked at you. "You should go public."

You couldn't help but feel like everyone was looking at you.

"Thanks, (y/n)," Cordelia said. "What do you girls think?"

They were still looking at you as if you called a teacher by their first name. And that's when you realized. You probably shouldn't have called Cordelia, Delia, in front of the girls. Queenie and Myrtle didn't know about your relationship and you two weren't public yet.

Myrtle puffed her pipe as she stared at you then Cordelia.

"Who's going to teach them? There's probably so many girls out there that have potential gifts," Zoe asked.

"Well, I was hoping that you girls could help teach," Cordelia smiled.

"Us?" You gasped.

"Well, you three all almost completed the seven wonders, and only the supreme can complete it. I'm very proud of you girls, and I think you're all capable of helping out around the academy. Of course, only if you want to."

"I would love to Cordelia!" Queenie smiled.

"Me too!" Zoe said cheerfully.

"I think I have some more catching up to do," Madison said.

"Yes, Madison. I would like it if you worked on your studies more before helping with the teaching," Cordelia said.

Cordelia turned to look at you. You didn't know what to say. Were you ready? You didn't think your magic was good enough.

"I-," you started. "I think I'm also going to think on it," you looked down at the floor. You didn't want to see Cordelia's look of disappointed.

"Well girls, thanks for your help! You are dismissed," Cordelia said.

"Oh, Delia. I'm so proud of you," Myrtle said as she squeezed Cordelia's shoulder.

You got off the couch and tried to make a run for it.

"Hey! (Y/n)!" Cordelia called out when you were halfway across the room. "Can we talk?"
You turned around and Cordelia was standing up and she looked worried for you.

"Sure," you said pretending there was no reason to talk.

"Oh, dear, you're in trouble now," Myrtle said as she walked past you.

"Come, sit down," Cordelia said.

You walked back over to the couch. Cordelia took your hands and sat down with you.

"(Y/n), I believe in you. You are ready to help this coven," Cordelia said looking you in the eyes.

"I haven't been here as long as Queenie and Madison," you said. "I don't think I'm good enough."

"Listen to me. You have come such a long way with your magic. I believe you are actually stronger than any of the other girls here. You need to believe in yourself."

Your heart ached. You loved it when Cordelia tried to boost your self esteem, although you felt a bit guilty. It almost felt like you were dragging Cordelia down with your anxiety problems.

"Thanks Cordelia, really. I just can't help but feel like I let you down."

"What do you mean?"

"Everyone has these cool powers. Like Queenie is a human voodoo doll, Madison can literally do anything, Zoe is so strong, and you are the greatest witch in the world!" You fiddled with your thumbs. Here you go again. Revealing too much and causing destruction and pain to people you love.

"Oh, (y/n)." Cordelia said sadly. "I know it's probably hard to be the sweetest person and have a power so destructive," Cordelia cupped your cheeks and turned your head to look at her. You felt a blush creep up your neck. "I'm sure you'll find another hidden power. For now you should try and build on the one you have, expand it, and maybe you'll learn something new."

You cupped Cordelia's face back.

"I love you," you said before you leaned in to kiss Cordelia.

"Love you too," Cordelia said after the kiss broke.

"I'm proud of you Delia. You will make an excellent supreme."

Cordelia smiled and a tear rolled down her cheek as she brushed yours.
