After the events of the last two weeks, we have mostly not left each other's sides. Janus and Patton have stuck together for the most part. The exceptions being when Virgil goes to the beach or goes into the jungle somewhere. Then, either one of them goes with him, or I do.

That was until today. Today, Virgil and I went into the jungle to find some materials to maybe start building a raft or something to get us off this island. Remus, Roman, and Janus went to the beach to relax and Patton stayed at the cave to cook some lunch for everyone.

"Virgil, can you grab some of those branches? I'll handle the palm leaves." He nodded and did as I asked.

He followed me back and followed me into the cave where we set them down. "Lunch will be ready in thirty minutes, kiddos!" Patton called.

"Smells great, Patt." I replied.

Suddenly, Virgil kneeled on the ground and began to rock back and forth! "Uuuuhhh...PATTON!!!!! I THINK HE'S HAVING A PANIC ATTACK!!!" I screamed.

He ran inside and knelt in front of him. "Virgil? Hey. Hey kiddo. You're okay. I'm here. You're safe. Logan's here too. We're not going anywhere. I promise. What's going on?" He said, reassuringly.

He didn't sign back. He appeared to be in another world of sorts. He wasn't coming out of it anytime soon. I smelled slightly burnt meat. "Patton? The meat!"

He nodded, and scurried out to the fire. "Virgil, hey. It's alright. I'm here. It's Logan, Storm cloud. I'm not leaving you. Okay?" I whispered to him, hoping to calm him down.

Then, Roman came in. He continued to panic. I tried reasoning with Roman, but he wouldn't listen. Fortunately, Virgil came out of it and tried explaining to him what was happening. But, unfortunately, he cannot understand sign language.

Roman left us and I helped Virgil back up again. "Are you calm enough, Virgil?" I asked him, as we walked out together. Virgil nodded, holding my hand! I couldn't deny the blush overcoming my features.

Everything seemed fine at lunch. Remus and Janus returned and joined us, also. The twins sat together and Janus and Patton sat together, naturally. Lastly, I sat down and Virgil sat beside me.

We had lunch and afterwards, Virgil got up and signed he was heading to the beach. I signed that I was willing to go with him, but he declined, hugging me and proceeding to head to the beach.

Then, Roman walked towards me. "What is it, Roman?" I asked, picking Virgil and my plates up.

"I'm going to follow him down there. I know he's heading to the beach. I know that much from your conversation. Yes, I watched you guys. I'm picking up on some ASL. Anywho, I'll make sure he's safe. By the way," He started walking away and then turned around. "I'm sorry about earlier. That wasn't very 'prince-like' of me." He finished, wandering off.

"Okaaayyy. That was an interesting interaction. Wait...Virgil went down there alone. Nevermind. Roman will be there with him. He'll be okay." FUCK!!!! I LIKE HIM, DON'T I?!

To get my mind off things, I decided to start making plans for the raft. Janus and Patton disappeared. So, I took the silence and used it to my advantage. I started making the plans on giant palm leaves I found around the cave and started writing on them, making my drawings.

"Whatcha doin' Nerdy Wolverine?" I cut my hand with the piece of bark I'd been using for my drawings and it fell on the cave floor.

"R...Remus?! Oh my god, I completely forgot you were here. Why aren't you with Roman on the beach?"

"Already went. He and Virgie aren't there. Weren't when I went, anyway. That was an hour ago." He explained.

"Hold the phone. You said that was an hour ago?" He nodded. "They've been gone for three hours! Remus, they're missing! AGAIN!!!!!!" I pointed out.

He wrapped my hand in a leaf-bandage wrap thing he made on the spot. "I know. I think he kidnapped them again, Lo. We've gotta tell Janus and Patton." He said, beginning to leave.

I grabbed him by the arm and yanked him back. "Remus! We can't. They'll be heartbroken. They lost him once. It's up to us. And to get Roman back, of course."

"OOOO Nerdy boy! You like Virgil, don't cha?" He said, teasingly.

"Y...yes. I do. Now, we have to go find them. I'll worry about the raft another time. Let's go." I said, blushing slightly as I followed him to the beach.
