I wake up sometime later.I'm laying on the cold, hard floor and the mysterious blonde boy is gone and so is Sara's body.
Trying to contain my tears as I remember what happened last night, I notice my arm that got grazed by the bullet has been bandaged tightly with white fabric.
Well the fabric wasn't really white anymore, it was soaked with dried blood.
Holding onto one of the random boxes in the room, I stood up shakily and walked slowly out of the room and into the corridor, keeping my eyes down incase there were any dead bodies that I have no interest in seeing.
Once I'm outside, I realise that I have no clue where to go now so I just walk aimlessly, not really going anywhere.
After about 15 minutes I find myself outside my apartment block where I live, well, lived with my mum, dad and little sister.
I'm surprised that to find my key is still in my pocket, so I push the key into the lock and step inside.
It seems so strange to be in here. It's so quiet. Normally my dad will turn his record player on or my mum will be in the kitchen making a delicious meal but it's completely silent.
I make my way into the bathroom and stare at myself in the mirror. It's crazy how much your appearance can change in 24 hours.
I looked like a mess. My hair was stuck to my face from the tears and was sticking up everywhere. My school uniform was torn in multiple places and was covered in sweat, dust and blood. And not to mention my mascara had run and was all over my face.
I sighed as I picked up a face cloth and turned on the tap.
Oh, right, there's no electricity.
I thanked my mum silently for always keeping bottles of water in the fridge, as I grabbed three from the shelf in the fridge door.
Once I was back in the bathroom, I pour half of one water bottle onto the facecloth and wipe my face with it. Then I start pulling my hair out of it's pony tail and start brushing it.
After making almost no progress with my hair, I decide to have a "shower". I lean over the sink basin and grab one of the water bottles. I tip it over my hair, making it wet enough to apply shampoo. Then I use the other half of the water I used to wash my face with, to wash out the shampoo. I then apply conditioner and wash it out with the remaining waterbottle.
The water wasn't exactly warm but at least now I can brush my hair.
After drying my hair with a towel, I trudge into my room to find some new clothes to wear. I grab some grey sweat pants, an oversized graphic tee and my favourite hoodie.
After getting changed, i have nothing else to keep me occupied so my thoughts start to take over.
I remember the way Sara looked at me as she said her last words. She looked scared, hurt, betrayed. I reminisce over all the good times we had together and the bad times. I lay on my bed sobbing until eventually I'm worn out and fall asleep.
For the next few days I do the same thing. Eat something that is still edible from the pantry, drink some water, sleep and repeat. I'm too numb to do anything other then that until the fifth day.
It's starting to get dark as I walk out of my apartment for the first time in a few days.
Despite all the sleep I've been getting, i still feel like I'm half-dead.
I wander around until I see a brightly lit sigh with an arrow pointing in the direction of the game area for the game I will be playing.
I find myself in front of a large, tall, white apartment block. I walk inside the door and feel lots of pairs of eyes on me. I keep my head down as I shuffle slowly towards the table with the phone on it.
