" kokichi!! wake up!! its almost school time!! " kokichi woke up to a voice, telling him to wake up, he slowly opened his eyes, and saw his roommate, tenko shaking him with her hand, and a backpack over her shoulder. " god, tenko!! i'm getting up! whats your deal?.. " " sheesh, i'm just saying! " she said, crossing her arm and turning her head to the left.
10 minutes later...
" kokichi!! were super late now!" tenko yelled from their kitchen. " ok! ok! i'm up!!" he replied, running past the kitchen and to the door, where his two other roommates, angie and kaede. " kokichi! what took you so long! were you having a feast of a breakfast or something? " angie said, laughing at how late he was. " actually i was fixing my hair! " he said poking her arm " how do you think i get my hair so cool? do you know how much goddamn gel this takes? " he said jokingly as he stomped his foot on the floor in a playful manner
" guys, guys we gotta go!! " kaede said while taking angie's hand to walk her down the hallway and into the stairway.
" race you there! " kokichi said, in a sing songy voice "oh no you don't! " tenko said, catching up with the 3 of them.
everything was perfect at that moment. they were all laughing, giggling, and making jokes.
" you three have some explaining to do! " their teacher, ms.yukizome stated, but not in a " strict teacher who would expel you for no reason " kind of way, more like, a playful way. " ok, you can sit down, but i'll only let this slide one time! " she said in the same playful manner.
" a little late guys? " a light green hair boy with piercings said calmly. " taro!! taro!! did you wait for us?? " " heh heh, yep. " the boy said, with a slight smile on his face. " sorry for being late tarooooooo " kokichi said, trying to imitate angie. " heyyy!! thats the nickname I gave to him! " angie whined, while tilting her head to the left and pouting. " yeah kichi! " "taro" said. his real name was rantaro amami, but the roommates liked to joke with him for whatever reason. the truth was that they actually looked up to him, and admired his confidence and how calm he was all the time. whenever there was something important that had to be said, he was most likely to say it, in a dangerous situation, he would tell everyone to calm down and think logically. " hey taro? " kokichi asked, playing with his hair. " yeah?" rantaro asked, turning his head towards kokichi, who was sitting right to him. " are you worried? " kokichi asked. " worried about what? " he replied, with slight concern on his face. " ... himiko hasn't been at school lately... are you worried about her? " " actually, yeah, i am.. how did you know? " " i mean, aren't we all worried about her? we haven't heard from any of her rela...tives- a-and sh-e sa-id she wasn't feeling well the days she be-fore she disspe- " he stared shaking and tears were forming in his eyes, but he was cut off by rantaro, who held kokichis hand scooted his chair closer to his.
