Chapter 1 - Sleepover

(BTW this part takes place after addi met... meet?met? meet? met? IDK TBH... merder's kids. So like... this is kinda like a continuation of 18x3 ig?????

Addison's POV
"So," Amelia began to say as we sat on Meredith's couch, "how's my godson?"

I chucked and said, "Good. Although, he is now refusing to wear underwear. It's a bit gross."

"A bit?" Amelia responded with a chuckle.

"Don't worry. They'll soon realize that," Meredith said as she entered the living room after tucking in all her kids.

"How do you do it?" I asked as Amelia and I turned around.

Meredith gave me a confused face and said, "Do what exactly?"

"Y'know! Take care of three kids on your own. I mean, for God's sake I have one kid and a husband and we can barely manage!" I said.

"Who said I'm alone? Addison, you need to make a village for your kid. I thought you knew that," Meredith said as she sat across from both of us.

"Well, now I do!" I said which made everyone chuckle.

We all chattered and laughed until 2 in the morning.

"Oh my! Would you look at the time!" Amelia said quietly because she didn't want to wake the children, "We should all probably get to bed."

"Ooo... Amelia's right." I said as both Amelia and I stood up.

"Wait," Meredith began to say, "where are you staying?" she asked me.

"Oh just a hotel which is right by the hospital conveniently enough."

"Stay here! You can come to work with Amelia and I. The guest bedroom is free tonight," she said.

I looked over at Amelia to see her face light up.

"Oh no. I wouldn't want to be a bother," I said as I grabbed my purse.

"Oh, come on! You won't be!" Amelia said as she grabbed my arm in excitement.

"Well fine. I don't want to argue with you," I said as Amelia gave me a nice hug. I gestured Mer to join the hug, which at first she declined, but after a lot of hand motion, she joined us then we went to bed.

(That ending sounds dirty but- this isn't smut. Sorry 😜 They went to bed as in their own rooms and sleep not slept but- ok I'm just gonna do us both a favour and shut up 🤩)
