It had been a day since Cleo and Lewis had seen the girls.
Cleo was worried about the book and had a feeling something may go wrong amd Lewis was trying to convince her that nothing would happen.

Now, Cleo and Lewis were getting ready to go to sleep and Cleo hadn't said a thing about the book since 5, Until now.

Cleo pov:
I don't trust them with my book, I said.
You mean the book, Lewis said.
I wrote it, it's my book and if I have to compromise I will call it our book cause you helped a bit, I said
Come on Cleo, you need to show a bit of trust in them, after all we all share the same secrets and if someone finds the book and exposes us they would also expose the girls, so I'm pretty sure that the girls will keep the book somewhere safe, Lewis said.
And if anyone does expose us, I will bite my way through it, I said.
You wouldn't, you activated your curse by killing your mother who actually dies giving birth to you, Lewis said.
Who said anything about killing, I said.
Can we discuss this tomorrow, I don't know about you but I'm very tired and I have a shift in the morning, so I'm gonna call it a night, He said.
Yeah I'm also going to sleep now, good night, I Said.

*In the morning*
Cleo pov
I woke up, and looked at the time and saw it was 5:30am.
I got up and went on the Island to stroll for a bit.
I couldn't help but think about the girls and the book.
It's not like I don't trust them or anything but, after everything they have done to me, it's hard for me to see them keep the secret.
I walked for sometime still thinking about the book until I decided to go back to the moon pool.

When I got back I saw Lewis awake and realized that it was 6 already, so I started getting ready.
Lewis soon had left for the Marine park and I was all alone on th Island.
I took a quick bath and changed into a white dress and black jacket.

It had been awhile now and I was bored, so I decided to go for a swim.

I decided to swim to The secret Fishing spot cause no one came there.
I walked on the beach for a while to see Emma, Rikki and Bella walking towards me.
Hi Cleo, Rikki said.
Have you started reading the book yet, I asked them.
That's one way to start a conversation, Bella said.
We read the first chapter, Emma said.
Will there be more rules, Bella asked.
Yep, there are many of them, I said.
Oh God, I hate rules, Rikki said.
Wait, Did I just hear you say that you are just on the first chapter, I said.
Yeah, we will be reading the second one today, Emma said.
It takes you a whole day to read one chapter, I said.
Well, not a whole day, we read the first chapter quietly quickly, but yesterday we were supposed to meet to read it but ended up talking the entire time, Rikki said.
Ok let me breif you up a bit, the next chapter is about your powers and how to control them, which you already know about but, there are some more things in that chapter so please read it, I said.
Yes Coach, Bella said.
Don't call me that, I said.
Then what should we call you, Rikki said.

Okay, Rikki said.
So are you keeping the book safe, I said.
Yes, it is at my place in my room, Emma said.
Okay good, I don't want anyone to find out about it and what's in it, I said.
Just trust us Cleo, we will keep it safe and Emma's parents are out of town so no one will be going in her room except us, Bella said.
Look I do trust you all, but it was just me over the years and then suddenly 4 people become a part of my world a part of my secret, it is alot to digest In.
This book is something neccesary to me and this book has all of it, secrets, rules, excuses, powers and much more, I said.
We know how hard it must be for you, you were a mermaid alone for years.
And now we are one of you, we will never do anything that can expose our secret and we have kept the book safe so no one will ever find it, Emma said.
I know, and I do trust where the book is and that you all will keep it safe and that you all will not lose it, as long as you all are going to have it I have no problem, But this book means a lot to me, I said.
I get it Cleo, This is practically your life all the challenges you faced being one and all the happiness you felt is all In that book.
That book is like your journal and has all the things a mermaid or merman would need to survive, Emma said.
That means a lot, and even though I don't show it I do trust you, I said.

Oh shoot, I gotta run, I'll se you girls later, Rikki said.
I need to go too, I said as I walked towards the water.

Emma pov:
We should start reading the book before she gives us another lecture, I said.
Yeah, so when should we meet, Bella asked.
I'm fine with today's evening, I said.
I'm free aswell, what about Rikki, Bella asked.
I'll ask her, I said taking out my phone.

Hey Rikki, we are planning to meet at my house in the evening if you're free.
Text me back as soon as you read this, I said.

I'll be free at 5 but can we meet at 5:30???
