Chapter 3- The girl in the rubble

I look over and see the bit of yellow disappearing. Its clothing. There is someone there. I land and walk slowly towards where I saw the yellow before.

Crying sounds come from behind a crumbled column to my left side. I go over, and sure enough, there is a grubby little girl sobbing exhaustedly. She looks really tired, but when I kneel down to her she looks up. Her face is very dusty with tear streaks cutting through the grime. Apart from that she's quite cute. She reminds me a little of Morgan.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask softly, getting to the point.

She starts to formulate her reply but faints and hits her head on some concrete. It is clear that she needs medical attention, so I pick her up and fly back to the avengers tower where I know she will get the help she needs.
