As soon as Monami departed Karan's room she started running towards the garden area. She hugged the tree. She wasn't crying but thinking about what Karan said. His words pierced her heart. She is not gonna forgive him easily.

Sid came and saw Monami hugging the tree. He knew her habit. He climbed up to the tree and hugged it from other side.

"I am sorry once again bro. Meri vajah se teri training bhi ruk gayi. Kismat ka khel toh dekh na Monu bro", Sid said. Monami looks at him. "Aaj tak najane kitne ladkiyon ko girlfriend banakar ghumaya hai maine tab kabhi bhi kisi se saccha pyaar nahi hua but aaj jab sach mein kisi se pyaar hua toh usse dur rehna pad raha hai", he completed.

"Sid don't be upset. Mera dil kehta hai ki ek na ek din Sanju tumhe jarur ek chance degi aur accept bhi karegi. You know right ki voh ek agent hai. Uske liye I am sure pyaar ek nayi feeling hogi. Toh voh itne asani se accept aur samajh nahi payegi.", Monami explained.

Sid looked at her surprised.

"Monu tu upset nahi hai? Naraj nahi hai mujhse?", Sid asked.

"Upset toh hun Sid. But, aab upset rehne se koi fayda nahi hain. Upset rehne se na hi Karan mujhe maaf karega na hi meri training hogi. Toh filhal mujhe mere maan ko stable rakhna hai. Mujhe aapne aap ko Colonel sir ke saamne prove karke dikhana hai ki main bhi commando baane ke liye bilkul sahi hun", Monami said.

"I am sure Colonel Sir tujhe academy se bahar nahi nikalenge", Sid encouraged her.

"I hope so..."

"Sara sach bahar aa gao?", Sanjana asked when Monami entered the room.

"Kaisa sach?", Monami asked.

"Oo chirkut ne aur tumne Karan sirji se panga lekar sahi na kio! Uss chirkut ka toh samajh mein ata hai par tum kaiso faas gayi iss chakkar mein?", Sanjana asked.

"Dekho mujhe iss baarein mein koi baat nahi karni hai. I know ki saab mujhse aur Sid se Naraj hai lekin aab jo ho gaya usse main badal toh nahi sakti. I can only hope for the best.", Monami replied.

"Hamare gaav mein ek kahavat hai. Jaise saang vaisa rang", Sanjana said and layed down to sleep.

Monami decided to keep quiet. She layed down on her bed and closed her eyes.

She wasn't asleep from one and half hour. She only kept tossing and turning in her bed. She was thinking about her and Karan's conversation. What will be the decision? She was clearly seeing her dream breaking.

She finally slept after some time.

Next morning,

It was Sunday and Monami visited Park with Suman ji and Chitra. Chitra was busy clicking selfies in her mobile. Suman ji was busy talking with her husband. Thankfully, Karan didn't tell any truth to the cadets, else she couldn't be able to spend some moments with other cadets before leaving the Para SAF.

Her mobile rang. It was showing the name Asha.

Actually, Asha was the nurse who was working in Monami's father's hospital two years ago, but she resigned due to her personal reason.

"Ha Asha didi. Boliye aaj yaad aa gayi aapni Monami ki?", Monami said.

"Are Dr. Monami aapko kon bhul sakta hai? Vaise maine Isiliye phone kiya tha ki mujhe na aapse ek jaruri baat karni hai.", Asha said.
