Silvia POV
Troy and his dad were playing basketball in the resort they came to celebrate New year's. I, on the other hand, was seated on the bleachers watching and cheering for my man, Troy.
His mom walked in, "Boys did we seriously come here to play more basketball?"
They stopped playing and said in unison "yes." I chuckled which made her look at me. "Silvia are you encouraging them?" She crossed her arms in a scolding way.
"No ma'am. Just cheering from the sidelines. I didn't tell them to come here nor did I even bring it up." I held up my hands in defense. Mrs. Bolton rolled her eyes but smiled. "Let's go. There's a kid's party here too. You two are going." She pointed at Troy and I aigh her index and middle fingers.
"Lucille just one more game." Mr. Bolton tried convincing his wife.
"Yeah Mom just one more game. One more." He stuck up one finger. Mrs. Bolton sighed but agreed. "Fine but I'm stealing Silvia."
"What? My cheerleader?" Troy resisted.
"Oh well if you're calling me that, I'm most definitely leaving." I got up and made my way to Mrs. Bolton, who wrapped her arm around my shoulders to lead me away.
"I didn't mean it that way Siv!" Troy yelled after me.
"Of course you did!" I yelled back.
"We better hurry it up or your mom will kill us and your girl will help her bury us." Mr. Bolton announced. We got to mine and Troy's room. "Alright sweetie, just something simple okay?" I saluted her playfully and she giggled before leaving. "What to wear?" I opened the dresser drawers looking for the simplest outfit I had for a party. I like red. Red has always just been my color and it helps that Troy likes it too.
I've been dating Troy since Freshman year. With my reputation, everyone especially his parents had strong opinions about me. I didn't do drugs or anything. I was known for being a loud mouth: rude, some might say.
I'm not rude, just too smart to let some stranger walk all over me. And I fought, quite a bit. It helps boxing and volleyball. I have a quick temper, anger issues, whatever you wanna call it. My adopted sister, Kelsi, says it's my anger from being abandoned. She's always supportive.
Yeah, I'm adopted. But the family I have now, is the best one I could've imagined. Since dating Troy, I've gotten better. No more fights. His parents saw my effort and while I didn't necessarily care about their opinion, Troy is someone who will fall under peer pressure. So if his parents didn't like me, they'd talk crap and try and get Troy to break up with me, saying it's better for him and I'm a distraction from basketball. What they didn't know, was that I played basketball with him. When he wanted to play but not alone, instead of watching, I'd play.
I sucked cause I'm a volleyball player but Troy loved teaching me and we got closer. Troys a great boyfriend. We don't fight or argue. We talk it out even overwhelmed with emotion. He's not afraid to show me off to his friends. He's cute and funny and hardly the jealous type. I'm usually the jealous one. It doesn't help that the whole female student body is attracted to him. If he wasn't so hot, I wouldn't have a problem. I mean he's no 1997 Leonardo Dicaprio but he's my own personal Dicaprio. I'm Troy's first girlfriend. His first girl hug that's not his mom. His first kiss. His first make out. First girl to come to his house and in his room. I'm his first for everything and it's adorable. It probably adds to my possessiveness. He's my saving grace. His life was peaceful before now he calls it heaven with me.
