As boring as work is, I love to work sometimes. Interesting people pop into Jared's sometimes and its better than college homework. I know most of the people in Cameo because Jared's is the main diner in town, and its not often when I see someone I haven't seen before come in. Today must be my day because a new boy, I've never see before comes in and sits right at my section. As I walk over in my required black skirt and blue polo uniform, he quite rudely gives me a once-around. "Hi, welcome to Jared's, do you know what you are having to drink?" I ask politely but still letting the sarcasm drip in for him checking me out. "I dunno, are you on the menu? Because your all I want right now." He says with a cheeky grin. Oh god, another weirdo perv, I think to myself as I roll my eyes. "No, sorry but here is the list of beverages" I say quietly as I point to them on his menu. As he looks over the menu, I walk to the back to bring out another tables order. When I reach the kitchen again I look over to his table and check him out. Regardless of his pervertedness, he is kind of cute, okay, maybe really hot, but still, he has short dark hair, toned muscles showing through his white shirt, and beautiful, piercing blue eyes. I look away quickly as he notices me staring, and walk over to see if he is ready to order. "What can I get you?" I say with a smirk as I tap my pen on the table. "Well I'll take a cheeseburger and a coke please." He says with a wink. "Coming right up."

As I walk out of the restaurant, I decide that I want to know her. Her name tag said Noelani,What an beautiful exotic name. I thought as I walked towards my house. I've been on Earth for a year now, and I'm finally adjusting to the hunans' weird ways. That girl, Noelani keeps running through my mind, I wonder when she gets off work. I wanna walk her home. I don't know if she has a car, but maybe I'll be lucky enough to get to walk with her. She was so beautiful, she has golden-brown hair with surprisingly beautiful brown eyes to match. She also had a nice body, I thought as I walked in my house and took off my shirt. I closed all the blinds and let my wings unfold. After being on Earth for a year, they were quite black, with some white left. After letting my wings stretch, I went out back to my pool and took a swim. When the sun started to set, I made my way back to the diner to see if Noelani was getting off work yet. Once I got there I waited out front for her. Just as I thought she'd already left I heard the door open and some humming.
