Sounds of chatter and laughter, teenagers talking with their individual friends, spread all around the room. Some were sitting at the desks while others sat at the chairs that were scattered all around the room, or stood besides the persons that they were having a conversation with. Over all, having the time of their lives.

That's what the usually quiet and independent two-toned boy walked into, when he entered the laughter filled classroom. He gave the room a quick glance, before making his way to his desk in the back. It's true that most people would be unsatisfied, with having to sit all the way in the back of the classroom. But to him, it didn't really matter.

He liked how he could sit for himself, it was reasonably rare for anyone to come to his desk. Which he didn't have a problem with, he liked being alone. It were partly easier to concentrate and he didn't need to talk with anyone in the morning, especially since he would do his best to end any incoming conversation.

It's not like he didn't want to talk with his friends. He truly loved to talk with them and he really enjoyed their company, but he weren't the best at lying, especially to someone like his friends. He truly cared about them and held them close to his heart, but he couldn't risk them finding out his secret. It were hard enough as it is, but even the thought of them finding out sent a shiver down his spine.

The thoughts of what his father would have done to him, if they had even the slightest idea of what was happening in his house.. lets just say, it wouldn't end very well for him. The thoughts ran through his head, giving him goosebumps just by thinking of how many bruises he would have to cover the next day.

And without thinking he began scratching uncontrollably at the bandage on his left wrist, memories of the previous events from the day before, began filling his mind. The thoughts of the razer over his skin, almost made a smile creep up on his face.

He stopped scratching at his bandaged wrist, when a sudden pain shot through his whole arm. Slightly gritting his teeth, while trying his best to keep the pain to a minimum, he closed his eyes tightly, while the pain only got worse.

He had a small debate in his head, to which if he should go to the schools restrooms while trying to maybe take some painkillers, but between having the risk of people getting suspicious or, having to stay in class and just cope with the pain, the choice didn't sit well in his mind. He didn't get much time to think either, when their teachers voice rang through out the whole room.

"Find your seats" Aizawa's voice was low and rather soft, but still utterly controlling. You aren't in doubt when it comes to telling if he's asking, or telling you to do something.

The whole class went silent and in just a few seconds everyone sat in their individual seats.

The lesson began shortly after, and the day went by almost in a heart beat. Todoroki's eyes never leaving the clock on the wall, as his longing feeling to leave the classroom overpowered everything else, as the pain in his left arm never disappeared. Getting worse by every passing minute. It were enough to make him forget how his whole body arched, while the burns and bruises on his back and torso were being rubbed painfully against his school uniform.

He needed to get it checked, but even he knew that going to Recovery Girls office were a risk, that he couldn't and wouldn't take.

Getting ripped from his thoughts by the loud clock, indicating that the lesson was over. His longing to get out of the room, were almost enough to make him jump up from his seat. But keeping his calm composure, he began getting up from his seat in a rather slow rhythm. Only to be stopped by his teachers voice "Todoroki"

Turning his head to look up at his teacher, his expression showed nothing but confusion in his gaze. "Yes, Sensei?" he asked in his usually polite tone.

The raven haired teacher, looked at him with a skeptical look in his eyes before shrugging it off "Could you stay after class? I wanna ask you something" it weren't a question, it were a statement telling him to stay where he was. The class emptied when everyone went to get their lunch, leaving Todoroki and Aizawa in the now completely silent classroom. "Take it easy, there's no need to be so tense" the two-toned boy didn't even realize how tense he had become, letting his tense barricade fall on the outside, though leaving the one inside him as strong as ever.

"What did you need Sensei?" he didn't have time for this, his body was hurting like hell and he were pretty sure blood was leaking through the bandage at his wrist.

"You alright kid?" the question caught the teen of guard, was that all? he looked at his teacher, the calm composure never leaving his facial expression.

"Im totally fine, Sensei. What made you think I'm not?" tilting his head a bit at the last sentence. The teacher looked at him, but then his gaze began wandering slightly around the room, the teacher didn't know what to say. But then it hit him.

"You didn't listen in class, did you?" the boy didn't know what to answer to that question, he could say yes but then Aizawa would probably ask a question about the lesson, and he knew damn well Todoroki wouldn't be able to answer. So going with his only option he answered with-

"No, sorry Sensei" mismatched eyes quickly found their way towards the floor, not wanting to meet the teachers gaze, until he suddenly got a glimt of red from under his left sleeve, panic taking over his following actions. He quickly grabbed the end of his sleeve, stopping it from leaking anywhere else. Though his teacher didn't seem to realize, any of his changed  actions.

"Just listen next time" the control in his voice were more then enough, for the poor teen to understand that he needed to check his bandages before every lesson, to stop this from happening again. Plus, if this keeps on happening they would end up calling his father and that, wouldn't end well for him at all.

"You're dismissed" Todoroki took a quick bow being polite towards his teacher, before making his way to the boys restrooms.
