the rain poured outside as Judith sat by the window staring out. behind her stood a blonde taking strands of Judith's toffee hair and braiding them. "how long do you think this will last, Grace?" "it'll be a couple hours until the rain clears." she replies. "that's not what i'm talking about." the brunette says looking back.
"oh.." Grace pauses, tying off the braid with an elastic. "why are you saying such things?" the blonde asks. "you know how the townspeople are Grace," Judith says quietly. "they are nothing but old, bitter people stuck in the old ways," Grace huffs.
"I've made tea." a redhead announced walking towards the two holding a tray of cups and sugar. "Stella, she's being a downer again." Grace pouts. "is she now?" the redhead looked at Judith, her eyes met with a frown. Stella set the tray on the table and sat next to Judith. she placed a hand on Judith's back and rubbed circles in a comforting manner.
"you know that I love with with all my heart, right?" "yes." Judith answers. "so know that I want nothing but happiness for you" the brunette gave the ginger an optimistic smile.
"okay. stop this over thinking and just get on with it." Stella says slapping the younger one's back as she gets up. "ow! that wasn't necessary!" Judith shrieks. "I think it was." Estella said with a grin.
they move to sit with the youngest, snuggling up next to each other. the atmosphere is soothing as they hear the rain fall. they sip their teas as they talk to one another.
