This is a story I've been meaning to write, it isn't exactly word by word to the movie but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Y/N = Your Name

-

The automobile door opened, our family driver assisted me down from the vehicle. My eyes scanned the Titanic, Rose standing next to me as she was assisted after myself. "I don't see what the fuss is all about," Rose said, unamazed by the vessel.

"It's not even that impressive, maybe people need to get their eyes checked." A frown was set on my face, my eyes bored as I stared at the Titanic. I then locked my arms with Rose's and began walking to the ship.

Cal smiled in amusement before shouting from behind us, "It's over a hundred feet longer than Mauretania and far more luxurious." My mother took his arm, "Your daughters are far too difficult to impress Ruth."

-

I was exploring the ship deck, greeting passerby people like I was taught to do. Many people from prestigious families knew one another, though it was very tiresome having to constantly act as perfection in front of all of them to uphold my family name. I sighed as I took a seat on one of the lounge chairs set on the first-class deck, I glanced around to ensure no one from the first class area was looking before I slouched back and took a deep breath once more. I glanced up and was startled by the bright blue eyes that were lingering on me, I quickly sat up as I realized someone had their eyes on me. Though by the looks of it he was a third-class boy, based on his worn-out attire.

He flashed me a charming smile to which I smiled back trying to restore my so-called "perfection". As he began walking over to his friend I found myself having a hard time breathing, he was breathtaking for someone dressed in old clothing. I fell into my imagination of what it would be like to have him all dressed up in fine clothing, I found myself swooning over this blonde boy.

"Y/N! Mother is calling for us, it's time for our dinner." Rose called out for me as she was under the shady portion of the deck, near the entrance to the inner part of the ship."Coming!" I began making my way over to my sister as I took a glance back at the boy, my heart rate accelerating at the sight of him once more.

-

I was miserable, miserably bored of this dinner. It was just full of rich snakes boasting about their endless amounts of money and how great they are. Rose seemed perfectly fine on the surface, though even I could see how drained she was. I glanced at my mother who was laughing her dry laugh at the other rich women at the table. Cal was smoking a cigar while talking about the Titanic's structure with the other men. Rose was being how I should be, polite and uptight. I rolled my eyes and huffed lightly, catching Molly's attention. "Tired sweetheart? Why Ruth you should let her rest, I mean it is pretty late."

My mother shot me a glare, Cal overhearing had his eyes narrowed at me. I felt my chest suffocate as my breath was gone from my lungs, they had me trapped. I mustered up my words and gave a shaky answer to Molly. "It's-..It's quite alright Molly, thank you for your consideration."

"Y/N may I speak with you alone," Cal spoke up, burning out his cigar. Rose's eyes snapped up from her plate immediately at her fiance.

"Cal I don't think that is necessary—

"Hush now darling, it's just a small chat in private." Cal cut her off and got up from his seat, signaling me to do the same.

I felt my throat dry as I followed Cal and one of the staff into a vacant room. "Thank you," Cal said to the worker, excusing her from the room. She shut the door leaving just Cal and myself in the room.

"Cal listen-

"No. You listen to me Y/N, you and your sister need to understand you both will be directly connected to me when I wed your sister. So I need you to get yourself together and act like a woman instead of an incompetent child!" Cal yelled before grabbing my shoulders so I could face him. "Do you understand?"
