The next morning Emma woke up still in Klaus's bed but she was by herself. Emma got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen when she smelled something delicious, blood. "Well good morning sleeping beauty" kol said walking up to Emma and kissing her hand "good morning kol" Emma said smiling "good morning sleepy head" Rebekah said as she was sitting at the table drinking a glass of blood "good morning Emma, how you feeling" Klaus said walking up to Emma "disgusting, I'm wearing the same clothes as yesterday" Emma said laughing a little "it's ok, I have clothes sitting on your bed when your ready to change" Rebekah said "thanks bekah" Emma said "that's not what I mean" Klaus said "I mean how are you feeling as of what happened yesterday" Klaus said looking into Emma's eyes "I'm fine Klaus, don't worry about me" Emma said reassuring Klaus "oh hats what you said last time" Klaus said under his breath "I heard you" Emma said "oh yah I forgot, supernatural hearing" Klaus laughed a little "I just want some of that" Klaus Emma said pointing at the glass of blood Rebekah was drinking "go for it" Rebekah said lifting up the glass of blood for Emma and to grab. Emma walked over to the blood and took one sip. "This is so good" Emma said as she went to drink it again, Emma kept drinking and couldn't stop, the blood was too good. "Ok that's enough" Rebekah said pulling the cup away "I don't want you to drink all of it em" "oh yah sorry" Emma said laughing a little "I'm gonna go take a shower and go change" "ok" Rebekah said "Klaus can I talk to you" Emma asked "yes" Klaus said following Emma out of the kitchen "oh and good morning Elijah" Emma said as she kept walking
In the living room "So what do you need luv" Klaus said as they stopped in the living room "I was just gonna say thank you for letting me sleep in your bed, I hope I didn't snore to loud" Emma laughed a little "your welcome, and I didn't sleep in the bed last night, I slept in here" Klaus said smiling a little at the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Emma "oh yah, I know, I was just joking" Emma said getting a little embarrassed "it's ok" Klaus laughed messing up Emma hair as he ruffled it with his hand "hey stop it" Emma said swatting away Klaus's hand "I'm gonna go take a shower now" Emma said "ok" Klaus said as he went to walk away. Emma smiled as she walked up the steps to go upstairs thinking about her and klaus, and the tiny little moments like that that make her happy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emma toke a shower and when she got out she looked in her bed for her outfit.

After Emma put her clothes on she walked down the hall way towards the steps when she stopped. "Hey Emma" Emma turned around to the sound of kol's voice "hey what's up kol" Emma said "I wanted to talk to you" "ok let's talk" "not here, come with me" kol said and walked past Emma and walked down the stairs and went towards the door "I wanna go for a walk" kol said holding the door open for Emma "ok" ~~~~~~~~~ Emma and kol walked around town square talking. "Emma, you know I see the way you look at my brother" kol said "what do you mean" "I mean I see that you love him, and I see that he loves you" "no I don't, and no he doesn't" Emma denied " yes you do, and that's ok" kol said "it's ok to love him you know, he isn't as bad as you think he is, he's only ever had one or two real loves in his past" kol said "and you are one" kol said "I told him that I liked him, like, like him like him, he didn't even say anything, I think I just made it worse" Emma said "here's one thing you should know about my brother, he doesn't express his feelings well, it will take a while for him to open up, show him, make him believe that you are a person he can trust, I can see that you are someone I can put my trust in, and if I can, so can he" kol said smiling "thank you kol, this meant a lot to me" Emma said going in for a hug "your welcome" kol said hugging her back "and one more thing, if you do manage to still my brothers heart, don't break it, please" kol said "I won't" Emma laughed a little "let's go back to the house before my brother raises the devil himself trying to find you" kol said laughing a little ~~~~~~~~~~
Emma and Kol went back to the mikealson house. They walked in the front door to screaming "WHERE IS SHE" Klaus screamed to Rebekah "I DON'T KNOW" Rebekah said "I'm right here" Emma said walking into the living room where they were fighting "where have you been" Klaus asked walking over to Emma "I went out with kol" Emma said "why" Klaus asked being suspicious "we just went on a walk to talk a little bit, it's fine" Emma said reassuring him "ok" Klaus said calming down a little "god your crazy" Rebekah said ~~~~~~~~~ Rebekah and Emma went upstairs to Rebekah's room and talked a little and watched movies until Rebekah fell asleep and Emma almost did until she heard a knock. "Come in" Emma said looking over to the door "hey, what do you need" Emma asked seeing that Klaus walked in "I was just checking on you" Klaus said walking over to the bed "well I'm fine, me and bex were just watching a movie but she fell asleep" Emma said "ok, are you tired" Klaus asked "yah kinda" Emma said "well I need to talk to you, not here though, let's go to your room" "okay" Emma said getting up and turned the light off and closed Rebekah's door and walked down the hall to her room.
"so what is it" Emma said closing the door to her room and walked to sit on her bed "so I know how hard it's been for you" Klaus said sitting in front of Emma on the bed "yah it has been, but it's getting better" "I'm so sorry this happened, and I wish I could make it better for you" Klaus said feeling bad about what happened "there was nothing you could do, it's ok" Emma said "ok" Klaus said knowing he could never forgive himself for what happened "last night I was rude, I ignored you, and I should have been there when you needed me, I'm sorry" "it's ok Klaus, I understand, you don't have to say anything" Emma said not wanting to over step "it's ok, I just... I like you too Emma, I do a lot, I just don't want to be the reason you get hurt again, I can't be that reason" Klaus said "it's ok Klaus, you won't be that reason" Emma said reaching to touch Klaus's face "it's not ok, what if you get hurt, or even worse, you get killed, I don't want that to happen because of me, you have a brother, someone who cares and needs you, you have your whole life ahead of you, all that can go away if I'm with you, I can't let that happen" Klaus said pulling Emma's hand away "Klaus" Emma was cut off when Klaus said "I'm sorry Emma" and with that Klaus got up and left the room leaving Emma in her thoughts. ~~~~~~~~~ Emma got tired and changed her clothes.

Emma laid down. All Emma could think about was Klaus and what he had said. Klaus actually liked Emma, he didn't want to be with her though, at least that's what she thought.
