As the guests showed up at the venue, the church in Pallet Town, Ash and Serena grew nervous sitting in their respective dressing rooms.
"Uggghhhh...why am I so nervous?" Serena asked herself.
"I don't know, but you're going to need to put that aside as we're starting here in a few minutes." Grace said as she poked her head in the door.
"Ok mom, you try getting married! Oh wait..." Serena shot back before realizing what she said.
"Yeah...so finish up sweetie." Grace said as she left.
Dawn walked in and helped Serena finish up the final touches. Once they were done, Serena met with her father to walk down the isle. About thirty seconds later, the ceremony started.
As Serena walked down the isle she blushed. They neared the alter, and James whispered into his daughter's ear.
"This is it. The moment you've waited for your whole life. Or maybe that's later..."
"Dad!" Serena whisper shouted.
They arrived, and Serena smiled at her soon-to-be-husband.
"I love you." Serena whispered.
"I love you too." Ash whipered back.
After the music stopped, the pastor began.
"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the Holy Matrimony of Ashton Ketchum and Serena Yvonne. Now please repeat after me. I, Ashton Red Ketchum, take you, Serena Grace Yvonne, to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live." He started.
Ash smiled, and repeated it. "I, Ashton Red Ketchum, take you, Serena Grace Yvonne, to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live."
The pastor turned to Serena and continued, "Repeat after me. I, Serena Grace Yvonne, take you, Ashton Red Ketchum, to be my lawfully wedded husband, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward.
Serena also smiled as she repeated it. "I, Serena Grace Yvonne, take you, Ashton Red Ketchum, to be my lawfully wedded husband, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward.
Now that this part was over, they moved on.
"Now if you have any personal vows or words you would like to exchange, now would be the time." The pastor said.
