As the moment ended, she flashed back to reality and smiled at the memories.
He had a happy family now, his husband and kid loved him profusely.
She was glad that her effort was enough to help him a little through his hard times..

Kane's large figure blocked my view,
'Are you done, darling?' He asked softly

'Y-yeah I'm done.' I replied

He led his hand out and helped me stand up, and let me downstairs.

'Listen.. ' he said

I stilled and turned to face him.

'Yes?' I asked

'I have something I need to talk to you about..' He said as he stepped into my personal space, his eyes locked mine as we looked into each other's eyes.
I examined his beautiful green eyes and he examined my light brown ones.

'I think it would be better if we went to the backyard and talked about it.. ' he whispered as he softly held my hands.
In a trance, I nodded like an idiot, lost in his eyes.

He led me to the backyard and sat me on the pretty swing and kneeled in front of me, holding my hands in his.

'Are you ready to hear this..?' He asked, I simply nodded

'I.. Am a werewolf.. As you have noticed, my eye colour changed a few times.. That was because of my inner wolf..' He said

I sat there.. Not a thing he said passing through my head.. I did not move nor speak.

I just sat there.

'Uh.. Did you hear what I said..? ' he asked me
I blinked at his face.

'How.. Am I supposed to believe what you just said..? ' I asked unsure about whatever the hell was happening here.

'I can prove that I am a werewolf to you, but please, do not get scared and run away. My wolf would get agitated if you try to run. I promise you he will NOT harm you. ' he said
I only gulped and nodded.

He stood up took a few steps backwards.

He got on all fours and I saw his bones starting to crack. My eyes widened, my lips parted as my feet moved back unconsciously.
Fur started sprouting from his skin, his face changed into a wolf head.
My breath started wavering.
My feet moved took steps backward fasted.
He grew even taller.
He didn't look like a werewolf.
He looked like a beast.
He had muscles. He had a semi-human body but with fur..
Not as much fur as a normal wolf though.
A lot lesser.
He looked like the beast from 'beauty and the beast' but a lot more scarier.

My hands started to shake slightly as I looked up to look at his face.
Instinctively, I turned around and dashed towards the forest a little far away from the clearing.

A loud growl from behind me shook me up and I started running faster, but I couldn't process everything..

My head started spinning as I felt my hands shake even more and I felt myself slowing down.
And before I knew what was happening I felt myself falling..
And something.. Or someone..
Catching me before I fell to the ground.
