Chapter 9

Readers pov 

I woke up and got ready and looking out my window opening it feeling it's a bit chilly so I decided to put on a hoodie over my school uniform and decided to walk down stairs. "Morning (y/n)." Mom said. "Morning mom." I said eating some toast with jelly on it. "Ayaka left for school." I said still eating as my mom nodded. "Your uncle took her." Mom said as I nodded. I finished my breakfast and washed my plate in the sink. I grabbed my winter jacket and headed out to school. It was a chilly morning and seeing my cold breathe. I flipped my hoodie up and kept walking while I put my earphones listening to some music on my walk to school. As I was walking into and stopping at the school gate I see a huge crowd. "Huh what's going on." I said to myself as I shuffle through the crowd and I saw four girls and one of them was fighting calli.

"He will date me onee-chan." The girl with red twin tails said.  "No he won't." Calli said. "Ina hold my bag." I said passing my school bag to Ina. I walked to the two who were still fighting as I cracked my neck and blocked both calli's punch and the red twin tails kick. "(Y/n)." Calli said. "He blocked bae's kick." The girl with green hair said. "It's rare for one to block bae's kick." The one with dark blue hair said. "Kronii's right." The one with circular ornaments said. "He said his name is (y/n)." A one with dark brown pony tail said. "So what is the meaning of this." I said looking at Calli and the one is known as Bae. "She is trying to take you from me even though she barely knows you." Calli said. "And she's your younger sister." I said as calli nodded. "If I had to guess knowing your myth and who are they." I point to the five girls. "They are known as the Council." Kiara said. "One of the most recent group of transfer students behind another student by the name of Irys." Ina said. As I saw the person ina mentioned about she is what you call a nephilim. 

"Hello I Hope to get acquainted with all of you." Irys said. "Anyways looking at the time we should go to class." I said looking at calli and the other myth members. "We can get to know each other better when lunch comes around." I said looking at the Council members and Irys. Me, calli, and the other myth members walked into class to let our day get going.

Third person pov 

(Y/n) and Calli were in Azki-sensei's class doing an assignment thinking of a song to cover that is a good duet between them. "Everything going ok you two." Azki sensei said. "Yes sensei." They both said. Both (y/n) and calli were looking at their options and it was very long. "How can we decide on this long list." Calli said. "We have a mix of rap and some love songs." (Y/n) said. "Sensei said that represents both of us." Calli said. "Yeah." (Y/n) said as he began to cross out songs as Calli did the same. Both of us came from both of our lists. "Xl Uber and City of stars?" (Y/n) said. "I think it could be a good representation between us." Calli said looking away. "I'm guessing ina suggested it to you." (Y/n) said with a small smile. "Well it's decided we can sing that song." (Y/n) said. "Alright hope all groups were able to decide a song." Azki sensei said as all groups nodded. "Well now who would like to go first.' Azki sensei said as the class became silent as most groups didn't want to go first. So she picked names as group went up one after another. It was finally (y/n) and calli's turn. "Now (y/n)-kun and Calliope-chan what song will you sing for us today." Azki sensei said. "We will be singing City of stars." (Y/n) said as he looked at calli and nodded. "Sensei I would like to make a request if you can play the piano for us." Calli said handing the sheet music to Azki sensei. "Sure." She said grabbing the sheet music and walking to the piano. "Ready when you two are." Azki sensei said as they both nodded.
