PRISM Entertainment was founded on August 1, 2020 by soloist and CEO of Choi Hana in 2020. Currently, Choi is the CEO of the label, signing her as the first artist under the label. PRISM Entertainment is one of the subsidiaries of SM Entertainment and Big Hit Music. It is co-managed by both SM Entertainment and Big Hit Music.
PRISM Entertainment also manage Choi's own apparel and accessories brand, HANA Fashion which was founded back in 2020.
Choi herself confirmed that CEO of KONNECT Entertainment and soloist, Kang Daniel is one of the official advisors for the company along with Lee Soo-man and Bang Si-hyuk.
PRISM Entertainment's headquarter was once located at Yongsan, where HYBE Label's building is. However, Choi made it clear that she only goes to the headquarter for official meeting and PRISM Entertainment's office is neither at SM Entertainment or HYBE Label.
Choi refused to reveal the location of the office due to artist's and staff's privacy before this. However, after her contract ended in 2026, public have spotted PRISM Entertainment building in Yeonnam. It was then confirmed by one of the their staff that it was in fact the new PRISM Entertainment's headquarters.
