[Shoyo's POV] 

So, turns out, Yamaguchi is really nice, and he's also pretty interesting! He was a bit shy at first, but once he started talking, it was great!

"You did? That's so cool! I wanted to play volleyball when i was younger but they wouldn't let me. Said I was too small and would just be a burden tot he team," i sigh at that last part.

"A burden? I don't get how, I mean, if you're good, why should height matter? I wasn't very good at volleyball for a long time, but they let me stay anyway, when they probably shouldn't have, Because 'my height was beneficial'," He says, looking away.

Um, no sir, we do not put ourselves down in this hospital.

"I'm sure you were better than you think, seems you just struggled with confidence," i smile. "Maybe so.." He trails off, still not looking at me.

Oh how totally convinced he sounds.

"Hey.. Look at me..! See, this is what I mean, you still do kind of. Trust me, low confidence and self esteem can affect your performance. A lot." I smile.

He says nothing and nods. I notice he blushes a little, but lets not say anything about that.

"Anyway, didn't mean to dampen the mood," i giggle, "So, what-" I get cut off by a knock.

What if it's akari?I motion for him to say something, and run into the bathroom.

"Uh, come in..!" He says, loud enough for the person to hear.

"Thank you, has a certain ginger nurs-" Shit it is Akari.

*Knock knock*

"Shoyo, I know you're in there, come out." I'm not leaving this bathroom.

"Shoyo. I will eat your meatbuns-" I slam open the door.

"Bitch, you better not." I breathe out.

Shit. She's standing there expectantly. She wants me to explain.

"Okay, so. I know you said i could leave after my last patient, but you know technically Yamaguchi was still my last patient, since i still had the files, and he was added to the thing, and you were just gonna handle it yourself, but I can't just leave you know? and you never said i had to leave, and i did the check up thing, plus, i got him some food, so i also saved the hospital some money, and-"

She cuts me off.

Which is probably good, because i don't know what i would've said next.

She puts her hand up and sighs. "I should've known you wouldn't listen. I guess since you helped I shouldn't be mad... But you do so much around the hospital, and you don't have to. Why?"

No one gets it huh?

"Because i want to!" i say, smiling.

She looks at me weirdly, then sighs. "Alright then, you can leave whenever I guess." She smiles back and leaves.
