"Ow..." Kenma rubbed his rib lightly where Shoyou had elbowed him, rather harshly.

"Kozume! I told yo to stop doing stuff like that!" Shoyou scolded, before his pout gave way to a smile.

The smile was soft but amused as he ran (The three steps between them, but get it I guess-) To the pudding haired and latched on tightly. Kenma's grimace turned to a smile as well  as he wrapped his arms around in return.

Natsu on the other hand didn't know wether to roll her eyes or stare intently.

She chose to do both, in that order.

Once the two (finally-) let go of eachother, shoyo took a step back and let Natsu greet him as well.

She chose to, instead of jump on him, give him a fist-bump and a bright smile.

"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Let's sit! I have.. big news!" Shoyou grinned, grabbing onto both of their hands and dragging them to a nearby table.

"Alright, spill. Whats got you so excited?" Kenma asked, raising an eyebrow when Sho's expression switched to a nervous one.

"Uh... well... So there's no way around saying this so, i'm adopting a kid!" Shoyou blurted out quickly.

Kenma blinked.

Shouyou shrank in his seat at this reaction.

The only respose he didn't want, was judgment for his decision.

"Uh yeah, so i'm adopting a little boy, He' s ten years old and he's a real sweetheart, I have a feeling you'd like him actually, uh natsu's dgonna meet him soon, maybe you could too. but y'know if you don't want oo, that's totally fine too, 'just wanted to tell you y'know, but please don't try to convince me otherwise I really want to do this and it's for the best and I really really want to-" Shoyou rambled on, his head hanging slightly as if silently apologizing.

"Wait, woah. slow down sho. Wha I heard hrom that, is you're adopting a kid, and you don't want me to be mean?" Kenma said slowly,, checking to make sure interpreted it correctly.

"U-uh.. yeah..!" Is all Shoyou could muster.

Damn. This was so much easier in his head.

"Why would I ry to convince you not to?"

Shoyou's head snapped up.

"What-" "We already know you're a great parent," Natsu smiled brightly for good measure, "And I see no reason why you shouldn't adopt him," Kenma smiled fondly at th ginger.

Shoyou eyes shone with tears of joy, that didn't dare fall, but kenma noticed anyway.

"...Were you really expecting me to disapprove?" Kenma asked, a sounded just a tad bit offended.

Shoyou's eyes widened in panic. "What?! No! Well kinda, you scared me for a sec I didn't mean to- heyyyy....."shoyou frowned as kenma snckered. "You meanie! I thought you were mad!" Shoyou humphed.

He should have know, kenma's always been good at acting-- rather, faking his emotions. Though the elder of the two had fond it was much harder to do around shoyou.

Nearly impossible usually, and Sho always saw through it anyways.
