Lisa kept her pace as she fished out her phone to change the music that's playing on her air pods. She's on her early morning routine and jogging was part of her exercise.
There there, she thought.
I like this song, she hummed and returned her phone to the back pocket. She lifted her head and continued to jog when someone called her.
Her music was loud but not too loud for her to be able to hear other noises.
"Lisa!" her loud annoying bestfriend just called her from behind. Lisa hissed and hastily turns around to chastise Jisoo.
"I told you not to bother me when I'm jogging right?" Hind of annoyed can be felt from her voice but Jisoo's still in her usual cheerful self. She knows Lisa and Lisa loves her for her to mean it.
"Yeah yeah whatever" she waved her hands dismissively. "Anyway, I have something to tell you"
"What is it?" Lisa asked, getting her phone to stop the music playing when someone from her peripheral got her attention. Jisoo answered her but the only thing that mattered to Lisa that moment was the girl who's smiling sweetly at her.
"So my cousin just got back from New Zealand and is staying in our house. She's the same age as us and I think you and her can be friends so we can hangout at school hey? Lisa? Are you here with me?" Jisoo clapped infront her face and that was when Lisa came from her trance.
She blinks. "Ah, yeah sure" was all she uttered.
"Good to know! Wait here and I'll call her..Jisoos! Jennie when did you get here?" Jisoo jumped the moment she saw Jennie behind her. She didn't felt her presence there for God knows how long.
"I came here a few moments ago but you're too busy with your own talk" she answered.
Jisoo shrugs and turns at Lisa. "Anyway, now that you're here, I'd like you to meet Lisa" she gestures her hand at Lisa who's still not moving at her place. "This is Lisa, my bestfriend. Lisa this is Jennie, my cousin"
"Hi" Jennie offers her hand to her. Lisa took it and it was in that moment she knew her life will change the way it used to be.
