If I didn't, why would I still be here?
You say you want something, anything.
But I gave you everything!
I always try to help!
But still you say how you have no one but yourself.
If you'd open your eyes and see
You'd realize that I've been here and will always be.
Get it through your thick skull, that I give it my all;
That this is more to me than a game of ball.
I may not show my affection all the time.
But at least I give you some signs!
You have to give me some credit for what I do do
Because I wouldn't do anything at all if my love wasn't true.
