Oh shit...

"And where have you been?"

Ibuki stood anxiously in the doorway, Chihiro panicking by her side. Her mother glared at her, arms crossed. The woman glanced at Chihiro and the assistant jumped, hiding behind Ibuki.

"I'm very disappointed in both of you." Ibuki winced. That hurt. "Did I put too much faith in you Fujisaki?"

"N-no ma'am," the small person squeaked. "I was with her the whole time."

"But you let her go?"

"I couldn't stop her, she wouldn't let me!"

"It's not their fault mother!" Ibuki cut in. "They tried to stop Ibuki and Ibuki ignored them."

"Come here, hold out your hands," her mother beckoned to her. Ibuki hesitantly walked over. The woman stood up from the end of her daughter's bed, looked the girl up and down, and slapped her sharply on her left wrist. Ibuki didn't react. "And stop talking like that, you sound like an idiot."

"Sorry mother," she mumbled.

"Speak clearly, you are a princess."

"Sorry mother," she repeated clearer.

"Thank you. This will not happen again," the queen swiftly walked out of the room, slamming the door behind her. The second Ibuki knew her mother was out of earshot, she let the tears pricking in her eyes begin to flow down her face. Chihiro ran over and helped the princess sit down on her bed.

"You should sleep," the assistant suggested softly.

"Ibuki's so sick of this," Ibuki sniffed. "Ibuki understands why Ibuki can't go and be around people, but even when Ibuki is good, she criticises Ibuki's every action..." she trailed off. "What's the point of being good when Ibuki's gonna get in trouble anyway? Ibuki may as well have some fun."

"You're doing well," Chihiro gently rubbed the princess's arm. "Your mother may not care, but I do. I'm proud of you."

Ibuki laughed through her tears and started coughing a little. "Thank you Chi." She buried her face in her bedsheets. "That means a lot." She paused. "It's not annoying for Ibuki to use Ibuki's name all the time, right?"

"No, not at all!"

"Thank you..." she smiled a little. Chihiro stood up to leave to their room. "Goodnight!" Ibuki whispered.

"Goodnight," Chihiro replied, shutting the door behind them. Ibuki rolled over, trying to get comfortable on her bed. She hugged the pillow. This sucks, but tonight was fun, Ibuki liked meeting all those people. Ibuki wishes Ibuki could've gotten their phone numbers... maybe Ibuki can ask Kazuichi. Ibuki wonders if he knows that girl...

She remembered the girl's silver hair and deep red eyes, her soft voice. To the princess's confusion, she felt her stomach flutter. The more she thought about the girl, the happier she felt. The girl was confused. Ibuki's gonna ask Kazuichi for silver girl's phone number when Ibuki next sees him. Ibuki expects Ibuki just wants to be friends with her, this has happened before. Each time it's just meant Ibuki wanted to be friends with different girls Ibuki met. She sighed and rolled over again. Before she knew it, it was the morning. She'd fallen asleep.

"Morning Ibuki!" Chihiro poked their head around the door. "You're up late for once."

"Huh?" Ibuki sat up sleepily and stretched. "Oh."
