"Where are going?" She asked, noticing I turned off at the wrong exit.
I'd told her I was taking her home, but there was one last stop I wanted to make before hand. The last surprise for date night and the part I was dreading the most. Id been thinking about all of the things people had told about my relationship with Tess and decided I needed to let her in, completely.
It was a terrifying thought and it took every part of me not to run away from it. But Tess was right. I needed to trust her if she was going to be my girlfriend."You'll see, it's not far," I assured her.
It was hard not to be nervous. This was a huge step for me, and it churned my insides so much, my palms were sweaty and I felt like I might be sick.
Fucking hell.
I remained composed, hiding my anxiety. I wanted to reach over and touch her thigh as I drove, to show her I cared, appreciated her, anything, but my hands were clammy and it would give me away instantly.
Despite how hard my she had me at the club, as soon as we got in the car to head home, my boner disappeared. I swear if I tried to piss right now, my dick would probably go back inside me I was that uneasy.
"We're here" I said, calmly.
*Tess
I peered out the window, trying to make out what I was seeing in the dark. It was around 10pm, and my curfew was 11, so I was curious what the last stop was going to be. We turned into a long gravel road, the only lights were solar lights that lined the driveway. I had noticed by the signs we were in Foreshore Crescent.
Kitt pulled up in front of a gorgeous looking house atop of the hill that overlooked the beach below. All the lights were on, revealing a modern build, with huge glass panels on the side facing the water and dark wood deck that wrapped around the house. It was beautiful.
He turned the car off but didn't move from his seat. "This is my house," he said flatly.
I gawked at him, then back out the window at the wonderful piece of architecture before me.
Holy shit.
His house?
Oh my god.
"Kitt this place is beautiful," I exclaimed, wide eyed.
He shrugged, unbothered, unmoving.
I unbuckled my seatbelt, retrieved my handbag from the floor, excited. "Can we go inside?" I beamed.
"Well, I was thinking we could go for a walk on the beach, but yea. I can show you around...if you want,"
With that, I opened the car door and jumped out ready to go. I had never pictured his house to be like this. Lottie had told me Kitt and his Father lived in Foreshore Crescent by the beach, but I never expected this. The houses in Foreshore Crescent were built and owned by wealthy people. Their houses were more like mansions with large grass lawns littered with sculptures and water features but Kitts house was different. It was a reasonable size, with incredible views of the ocean but it was tucked away and hidden from the rest with the large fence around the perimeter, long driveway and strategically placed trees. I was in total awe.
